Lovely cafe style restaurant. Menu is filled with homemade classics along with chef specials. Staff are super friendly and cheerful. If you go, say hello to the local dog ‘Alfie’ and give him a pet (he loves it!)

Good service, clean and tidy nice food, and a good choice of different meals and quite reasonably priced too.

We just loved this place. It is obviously very popular on a Sunday lunchtime with local families, as there were lots of young children eating and the cafe was very busy. The food was decent quality and there was plenty of it - service was quite quick and the staff were just lovely. For a busy service, one waitress in particular made us smile with her positive and friendly demeanour. We each had a big all day breakfast and the price was quite low for what we received. It certainly filled a hole and provided much needed fuel as we rode our motorbikes for the rest of the day. Thank you.

Super service and waiting staff were fantastic with my 3 year old. Dog friendly as well. We had a lovely lunch here. Highly recommend

Popped in on way home from holiday. Only had coffee and cake which were both good. The meals being served were huge portions. Very good service by pleasant staff. Will be back. Thankyou.

A lovely café. The ambience, the service and the food is just excellent. Love the little placards around the place and little mascot ‘Alfie’ who adds to the homely feel of the place. Definitely a place to visit over and over!

Enjoyed our late breakfast here. This cosy cafe features traditional interior and a real wood fire place, lovely and warm.Friendly customer service, would recommend.

Ownership has changed since my review of 5 years ago and so has the menu. The breakfasts now have sauted potatoes on them in addition to hash brown (too much potato imo) and there's no option for black pudding, which is unfortunate.I always enjoy popping here for a great breakfast when I'm in Builth. It's always cooked perfectly and the service is great. It's worth asking for toast and black pudding if your having the Drovers breakfast.

Lovely cafe. Good food. If the weather permits, outside is a great place to be
