Really interesting. The whole Elan Valley experience is wonderful. Worth watching the video, it's informative, and short enough to hold your attention. Lovely gift shop. We found a great seat for coffee in the cafe, watching the river flow by, and the birds at a feeder near by. Loads of information available and of course the dam to explore. Your free parking is only for 20 mins, so be careful ! But it's only £3 for all the car parks for a full day so that's great value. Would recommend starting here before doing the entire drive round.

Wonderful place and starting point for hiking trails in the Elan Valley. The staff is really friendly and knowledgeable. We left the visitor center by foot, we did a loop around the reservoirs that took us almost 4 hours. We had lunch on one of the camping tables along the trail with a beautiful view. Highly recommended!

What a lovely morning, walked around the burd nature path up to the reservoir with the dogs. Stunning views. Stopped off at the visitors centre cafe, friendly staff and very tasty panni's...worth a visit.

Well worth a visit we only stayed an hour, but would have gone for a proper wonder time permitting, it's a beautiful place, plenty of parking, hidden away from the world, if you like stunning scenery and walking, get yourself there

Absolutely loved my first visit. The scenery is just breathtaking, well kept areas and beautiful walks. Food in the Cafe was nice and the gift shop was reasonably priced. I can't wait to visit again.

Great place for a day out in the Country with a stunning victorian stone dam set behind !! Features exhibition area, cafe, shop, bike hire, play area, picnic area, dog friendly it's run by Welsh water definitely worth a visit you may even be lucky to see the water cascading over the top which is great to see kids loved it.

Absolutely beautiful scenery, dams, waterfalls. Even though it rained all day out didn't make any difference to the experience. Staff in the information centre were friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit if you like the outdoors. Only saw a fraction, can't wait to go back.

Perfect place to spend a hot summer afternoon, the shop has a great selection of souvenirs, there are toilet facilities and a large clean cafe. The location is spectacular and you can easily find the base of the dam, the water House, the spillway etc by strolling along the well maintained paths. There are loads of ways to enjoy the place, bring your own bikes, hire them for a while, hike, climb, or just have a relaxing picnic in the well kept grounds. There are benches everywhere so you can enjoy the stunning area. The river is accessible for a cooling paddle, the actual dam area is well protected but accessible for photography. It's really well set up for everybody.
