Very helpful staff and friendly, lovely place.

Used to be OK Jan the Ower is lovely! Gone a bit downhill though, one member of staff particular Helen Richards spoils it, rude arrogant awful attitude on her, think it must run in the family though as her brother is a bit of a Bully who likes damageing peoples property, apart from that the coffees OK if your served by someone decent!

Chelsea buns are out of this world, if you ever get the opportunity to go in and try one: do it!

I had some mince pies gifted to me from a friend after I shared my quest of finding the very best mince pies.I think I may have just found them, and they are made with love at Evans Cafè !They are packaged in a lovely Christmas box and there were 6 large mince pies in there. The pastry was light and crumbly and they were generously filled with a sweet mince inside.It was a close your eyes moment and I'm not sure I can go back to regular mince pies now, nor would I want to.Amazingly spoilt by your culinary genius 👏 I would travel across the County for these!

The best Chelsea buns I have ever tasted...And I'm not a cake fan..The coffee was better than costas

A friendly patisserie with take away service at present. Freshly baked bread cakes and savouries with quality bake. Traditional Italian family business always feel welcome.

Only 4 stars as breakfast was really nice and enjoyed it.Just would have been nice if toast had arrived the same time or just after breakfast was served and on a larger plate rather than being served on a plate 1 inch bigger than a teaplate, my beans fell on the table while cutting into bacon.Will call in again and ask for larger plate next time.

Great cafe, staff very friendly, service super fast also, made for a super start to the day.Definitely coming again....👍
