Very unhappy. My daughter ( vegetarian) asked for cheesy chips and was informed by the waitress " our chefs NEVER vary the menu. If its not just as it says on the menu- you can't have it. No point in me even asking him" Appalling customer service. My daughter ate nothing and the waitress just shrugged. It was like a scene from little Britain " COMPUTER SAYS NO " We only stayed because it was a family reunion meal- reliving old times - we WON'T BE BACK THERE AGAIN. RUDE

Probably fine if you are a meat eater, but the restaurant at Foyles is best avoided if you are vege or vegan. The vege and vegan options are dull and over priced. Nothing actually wrong with them, but the impression you get is of a chef who only knows how to produce meat-based meals. The food isn't cheap. either.

Wall-to-wall pensioners, and fine for people who confuse oversized Yorkshires for actual restaurant cooking.Only place in town with napkins so you can see why it does business, at least until the genuinely brilliant River Cafe opens its doors again. And it is a nice little suntrap for a beer. And they did have some real saltnpepper seafood starters. But don't expect much from the menu beyond pub staples at restaurant prices. And the Manager was pretty rude to me and my wife, in a way that you probably wouldn't expect after dropping 20 quid on a bang average pasta that wasn't even the dish on the menu.If you're up for the Festival, maybe keep looking. Or pop in and enjoy the Live Love Laugh vibes and knock up spaghetti when you get home. Your call.

Lovely building, beautiful decorations and food is fantastic.Have visited multiple times for lunch, afternoon tea and evening meal and have not been disappointed.Freshly prepared food and very tasty. Food is worth the price. Good range of drinks served at the bar.Nice outside area with tables and chairsBe nice to have a covered outside area as well as Wales has a tendancy to rain. The rooms are beautifully decorated to a very high standard and everything is very clean.Highly reccomend visiting and also book in advance to secure a table as can get very busy.

Sunday lunch today, 1st August, was excellent. We chose the roast beef which was beautifully cooked as were the vegetables. The cauliflower cheese was very good too. Dessert was delicious as well. The staff were friendly and helpful. Very good value and an enjoyable experience. We'll definitely eat here again.

We went here for a 90th birthday celebration and were made so welcome and looked after so well by the staff! Thank you! The decor is very modern and tasteful and the tables well appointed, the Sunday lunch menu had good variety. Overall the food was excellent, although some of our party were a little disappointed with the beef, hence the 4 stars .... But everything else about the place was excellent, would recommend for Amy occasion. There is outdoor seating too, so we also saw folks with four legged friends enjoying the place too!
