We love going to the Griffin.A traditional Welsh pub serving traditional pub food and drinks. Cosy decor and friendly bar staff, Percy is welcoming. Dogs are allowed in the bar. Some outside tables and limited parking. Worth a visit if you are passing or in the area.

My son and myself took my daughtethere for her birthday. It was the first time for months that we'd been out as a family and we were deeply disappointed. The menu was very restricted - pizzas, which I can have any day of the week, fish and chips ditto, lasagne which is not in my opinion restaurant food and burgers!! We asked what specials were on the board and were told there were none+ on a Saturday lunchtime. My son had a burger, my daughter a pizza and I just had a starter. Hardly a celebration. We realized in the middle of our meal that a party was planned for the evening as an outside door next to our table was opened and some men began to deliver all the band equipment. They went in and out probably a dozen times, disturbing our conversation and making us cold. No apology from Percy who I believe is supposed to be front of house but who really couldn't care less. We won't be going there again.

Interesting menu and specials board. We had the skate wing, a Thai green curry, and a lemon chicken. All the food was delicious. Also good selection of beers and wines. Highly recommended.

Lovely old Inn, offering good accomodation, very clean rooms, toilets and reception rooms. Continental breakfast is provided on week days and cooked alternatives at weekend. A small carpark is handy. The restaurant serves a variety of well cooked dishes. (closed on Wednesday). Trad ales, ciders plus a well stocked bar are complimented by very friendly and helpful staff. The Griffin is well worth a visit.

Lovely food, nice atmosphere, reasonable prices.A small hiccup with timing on the courses was noticed by the friendly staff, apologized for, and resolved to our satisfaction within moments.Next time we're in the area we'll definitely be revisiting.

Great food and service. We popped in on a Thursday evening for dinner (7 adults and 4 kids) and they put us up straight away. Food was delicious and the garden out the back has great views. Thanks

Absolutely fabulous, staff friendly and professional. Quaint deco, extremely clean and tidy. Menu traditional but with Griffin Inn touches and extras. Food cooked from fresh and high quality produce used. Good selection of wines and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend a visit and will certainly be returning.
