Delicious burgers in a picturesque location.Really great food, I had the Don Vito burger which is covered in ragu and it was amazing. Definitely a knife and fork job though!Fries were great and a really big portion. I would 100% recommend you get a side of gravy to dip them in (or cover them in!)Veggie options available too and a great selection of drinks.Over all definitely worth the trip up there if you’re anywhere near the area!

Had to get takeaway plan ahead booking for a tabel!, friendly staff, think it would be much nicer dining in. A little pricy but we did enjoy it. Not greasy nice portions will update when we can eat there again Pictures dont do it justice soo will update once we dine in. Definitely worth a visit.

Friendly service, fab menu and frightenly good burgers. Absolutely top class meal here today. If only it was closer to home. Well worth going out of your way to visit this place. If there's a better burger anywhere in the UK, I haven't found it

One of the best burgers I've had either side of the pond, definitely up there with the best, if not THE best burger in the UK. You just can't fault the whole experience from start to finish. Make it a destination and enjoy, you won't be disappointed.Quality of food, excellentVibe and decor, on pointStaff, friendly and quick service

Delicious food - had the lentil and mushroom veggie burger which was very good! Big portions of chips so could definitely share between 2. Only issue was fairly slow service due to a large table being in just before us. Also had to chase our dessert although this was given complimentary due to the wait. Would definitely go again! Nice to see somewhere so busy on a weekday night.

I have to say that it was really nice to finally achieve a visit to Hills at Brecon. We booked our visit for first serving at 12.00 on the Friday, on-line and considering it was Thursday when we booked I felt quite chuffed to have got a booking as I had heard it was normally busy. In reality if you want a table for the evening or the weekend it would be very wise to book a bit in advance. When booking on-line you will need to put your card details in and if you dont show you are charged £20. Also if you arrive over 15 mins late you could lose your table. I personally didn't have any problem with this as 'no shows' must be a real challenge to any busy restaurant. We arrived and were promptly shown to our table that gave us a fabulous view of the Mountains and Pen-y-fan. The restaurant was lovely and clean and the decor was very pleasant. Our visit was the first day of a new menu. I chose the crispy shredded beef burger, it was unreal! It wasn't like the thin crispy strips from a chinese, these were thicker, super lean, very crispy and covered in a sauce best described as "amazing"The beef patties come cooked "medium well" as standard (which for me was perfect) but you can have them how you want. My wife ordered the Carbonara chicken and she loved it. She described the chicken as "crispy but not dry" and the sauce "lovely". High praise from my wife as she is particular about food. We also had 'Beefburger fries' to share which were dirty fries with crushed patty , cheese sauce and pickles (which were great) etc etc. Really nice. These two burgers and the fries were all we needed as the food was very filling and I left feeling very satisfied. We washed our food down with white Americano coffee and it was of a very high quality which is unusual nowadays. The young lady who looked after us was friendly and attentive. Spot on really. Don't be put off if your in a more senior age group thinking this is a burger joint. This place is for 'foodies' of all ages.Well done HILLS!You smashed it!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️We will be back. 😋😋😋

Best burger joint in South Wales without a doubt. The service here is always incredible, and I’ve never had any problems with the food.Would not even attempt to visit without a booking, as the slots are always taken sometimes even weeks in advance.Would highly recommend to anyone who likes a proper smashed patty burger.

Food here was amazing. We had this booked for months and it did not disappoint. Burgers are massive and delicious, sides like the fries and ribs were also fantastic. Some lovely craft beers as well and I’ve not seen Corona on draft for a long time! If you can get a table, grab it with both hands!

The food at Hills is amazing! I hate that burgers are always well done in the UK. In France I would always get mine medium so that they are still nice and succulent and slightly pink in the middle. When the waitress said they cook their patties medium but we could have them well done if we wanted, I was really pleased. The burgers at Hills were cooked perfectly. There were some great burgers on the menu so it was hard to choose. The sweet potato fries were really good. My brother had homemade raspberry lemonade which looked absolutely delicious too. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed. The tables were really spaced out which is great if you're worried about being too close to others at the moment. The staff were all lovely as well. We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend Hills to others. It was the best cooked burger I've had in the UK!
