Lakeside Cafe in Powys

Lovely lake view. Often reserved places for lunch. Well kept and clean. Food is okay and pretty standard but made and tastes good. Staff friendly and good service

What a lovely cafe overlooking the picturesque lake and an ideal stop off on route to Pembrokeshire. Nice staff and excellent cream tea/coffee. Recommended.

What a beautiful peacful place i sit must sundays at lakeside feeding swans geese ducks who come out of water to forage ground for seeds .Even in the rain my dog loves his walk around the 1km lakeside

This place is fantastic, both the food and staff were excellent. They were very short staffed at Easter when we visited and still managed to pull it off. Very good value for money and a lovely location.Unfortunately editing this from 5* to 3* as our second visit of the week wasn't so successful. Both the service and food were decidedly average ☹️

Went for lunch yesterday, had the fishfinger sandwich with chips and was very disappointed. The sandwich was nothing special and most of the chips weren't cooked right. On the plus side the staff were very helpful on helping me get a refund. The ice cream stand down stairs is the best thing about this cafe and deserves it's own rating.

We stopped hear on our way to South Wales and boy am I glad thatmi found it.A true hidden gem.It was really a busy place but the food was excellent. HINT the fish finger sandwich was epic.Can't wait for an excuse to come again.

Pleasant staff and the place was clean. Plenty of vegetables, the cauliflower cheese was particularly good. Great views looking over the lake.

A fabulous lunch, home cooked meals,generous portions at a very reasonable price. The second time we’ve met up here with family from different areas in Wales as it’s so central. Previously had an excellent Sunday lunch. Very friendly staff. Always so helpful and accommodating.

Lovely cafe and delicious food. I have been to all the special events they have done and cannot recommend enough. The barbecue night they held over the bank holiday was amazing. Perfect food and lovely atmosphere eating out on the balcony. Best place to eat for miles!

Nice area to come with family or friends. Lovely parkland, picnic, lake area. Toilets.Cafe staff helpful. Nice coffee.
