Market Square in Powys

After walking up the local waterfall on Saturday we decided to stop here even though I am not a big chip fan especially from chip shops still we thought give it a go, so glad we did!!!! The fish was AMAZING as were the fish fingers and even the chips were of a very high standard. Both members of staff, 1 man 1 lady were both very polite and friendly. I I would defo recommend and will 💯% use again on any future visits to the waterfall..

Chips are disgusting as is the kebab meat which was chrispy and cold, would give 0 if I could like another review I seen

Were staying locally in a cottage and decided on a chippy tea. Lovely, friendly staff but frozen chips??!!!!!! Come on, absolutely unbelievable! Couldn't eat them, they were awful, the fish wasn't bad but frozen chips in a chippy that's a big no no. Wouldn't use again.

This chippy recently changed-ownership, and has vastly improved. The fish and chips is consistently cooked perfectly, with nice crispy chips and perfect fish batter. Chicken kebabs also very nice.

Would give 0 if it were an option. Honestly some of the worst Fish and Chips I've ever had, the chips were dry and shiveled as if the oil hadn't been changed for weeks the mushy peas were totally inedible and unrecognizable and the fish was flavourless and greasy. These people didn't seem to care all that much about anything other than money. I wouldn't even look at the place again a complete waste of time. Save your money and be on your way.

Tasty food, friendly service & Covid precautions were carried out properly. They also wrapped the fish separately (without having to ask) which was another bonus!
