Magic Meg! Just had the best service from the most delightful, warm and efficient waitress. Meg completely made our evening by being exceptionally attentive and friendly to our very noisy and demanding party. The air conditioning had broken down so was very warm upstairs and the restaurant was busy. Meg wasn’t the least bit phased- and maintained her lovely manner throughout. It’s so unusual to get such exemplary service I had to write this gushing review!

Had a really lovely evening at Miller and Carter tonight! The food was delicious and we had a super nice gentleman waiter; Solomon. Some good laughs and conversations with him which is what you want! Overall a fab experience. Please let Solomon know he’s good at what he does! Oh and of course compliments to the chef 🤩🤤

Dreadful! Decided to go at lunchtime. Very quiet in there but after ordering simple steak sandwiches waited over 40 minutes for food to arrive. When it did it was cold so had to send it back to be reheated. Amount of steak wouldn’t have fed a bird!! When it did arrive it was only slightly warmer & the fries were still cold. Even though our waiter was very apologetic & did give a slight reduction on our bill it was very expensive for what was essentially a portion of fries, bread & tiny amount of steak.So very disappointed & won’t be returning.

Food was good as expected, could do with the plates being warmed moreAnd found the restaurant was a bit chilly.Staff were great and cheerful but had a table by the disabled wc andCouldn’t believe the amount of dust and cobwebs on the decorative lightsOver the tables.

Awful service, never been in such a slow restaurant before, everything we ordered was a task for them even something simple as a glass of coke. Food was very average nothing special at all. Took ages to clean away plates. I had to ask for mains to be brought out after nearly 2 hours already in the restaurant and starters still not cleared. We was only a group of 6 and wasn't that busy. Was loads of stuff. They over cooked the fish and everyone's steak. God knows how they can justify the price when just such an average place. Honestly save your money and go somewhere else.

Visited miller and carter this week with some girlfriends, we all thoroughly enjoyed our steaks, Maria was our waitress she recommended the borderlaise sauce and it was the best steak stake sauce i have tried! Better than the dripping!!!Maria was lovely and friendly, she was bubbly and very pleasant. We cannot wait to come back again

Lovely food. Happy staff attentive and Comfortable attractive setting.Good social distancing.Cocktails very good.Nice place to really enjoy. Bit pricey but overall enjoyable.

Absolutely scrumptious 😋 I had the grilled salmon ... cooked to perfection. The best Ive ever had!The only tip we could give... is to have bigger plates for the steaks. Obviously they fit on the plate but was a bit tricky when cutting. Otherwise all excellent . Staff were very helpful when ordering and had excellent customer service. Our seating area was very clean and welcoming. Thanks again

Excellent service, excellent food. Had a great relaxing dinner. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.
