Montgomery Fish Bar in Powys

Called in while on a camper road trip, food average, but our gripe is cash only, not an issue, if there were signs to this effect before you come to pay, but it is when you pull out your card, no cash in your wallet, and the guy says sorry cash only 🙄

Good for take out and dine in.

Great fish and chips..curry sauce and proper mushy peas...lovely chaps service is great😁❤

Check the prices before you order, we ordered off a takeaway menu and when we collected it was half as much again, they are not that nice to be so expensive

This establishment is much improved.Food nicely cooked and presented .Not the cheapest . Very tasty and not greasy.

By far the best fish and chips I have had in years - fresh fish , crispy batter and Super Hot - amazing, keep up the excellent cooking

Just had fish and chips plus chicken have to say it was absolutely lovely.

Didn’t get given my change from the order, food was well overpriced, waiting time was horrendous, and portion size is a joke, photo attached of a ‘large’ portion of chips, would highly recommend not visiting this place
