A good pint and nice meal in a friendly pub

Great pub, ideal stopover, friendly and welcoming

Excellent for a trip and stay if you're in the area.

Nice spacious rooms, at very reasonable rates. I only have two small issues, 1 the shower seemed impossible to use without flooding the bathroom, and the breakfast was a bit small.I would still recommend.

We had a fantastic 3 course lunch. The lamb was gorgeous and tender with a beautiful chocolate fudge to finish. Diolch!

Really enjoyed it. Nothing special, just a solid country pub with a robust menu.

I visited The Mount Inn and meet up with some friends for drinks. We were really impressed with how clean the pub was. The food is amazing and the staff are friendly. Looking forward to our next visit.

My mates & I go on an annual off-road motorcycling weekend & have stayed at The Mount every year. If you're looking for 5-star rooms, forget it. Saying that, the rooms are clean & the beds are comfy. Food is spot-on & well priced (not just burgers & chips as one person suggested). We enjoyed steaks, gammon & lamb shanks - all lovely!The landlord & landlady are very welcoming, nothing is too much trouble & the pub has a great weekend atmosphere. For the price you pay, you simply can't fault it - See you next year :-)

Basic room which was fine but a bit dark and small. Clean but a bit tired. Friendly staff. Very basic pub food which was all burgers/chips and all out of a freezer/tin with nothing fresh and no veg/salad. Not a great breakfast either (tinned tomatoes and tinned mushrooms on soggy toast).

B&B with dated, stuffy rooms and an uncompromising Landlord/B&B Host. Not recommended for cyclists, as no secure storage.No cereal and you get what we have attitude. A very disappointing stay from a host who knew everything, but didn't possess the ability to listen!
