Neuadd Arms Hotel in Powys

Biggest hotel in town. It's got a restaurant and a bar downstairs. Rooms are old but tidy and room service is on daily basis. Convenience store is just across the street of you need a shopping. Good starting position for a walks. Nearby towns aren't too far if you're fancy to visit them. There is a good number of geocaches hides if you like to play that game ;) Plus the roads aren't busy at all.

Quaint place full of olde worlde charm, we just called on for a drink while we were passing through so did not stay in their accommodation.

We didn't stay here but went in for a few drinks and some food.The lady behind the bar was very welcoming and helpful.We ordered food and had the Sirloin steak which was lo ely and tasty

What an absolute dive!! Bates motel meets The Shining. Needs serious...and I mean SERIOUS updating, new fixtures and fittings, carpets the lot.So, where do I start...entered the room to find dirty unwashed mugs, decor was atrocious, ripped carpets, dirty skirting boards, mismatched dated Victorian furniture., the room and hallway smelt of damp....Fortunately, I arrived late and left early! Didn't even bother unpacking.....rang the office and was promptly relocated once I'd sent them the pictures of the place, I've stayed in hundreds of hotels but this was the worst EVER! There should be a 'minus star' button coz this would be minus 5 stars not a 1 star! Avoid!!!

Catherine and co are fantastic in making this gem of a place one of the most comfortable places we have stayed in. Everyone is so friendly, nothing is too much trouble ( a table was set for us especially so we could have breakfast in the bar with our dog as they are not allowed in the restaurant). Food is excellent, homemade and top quality. The rooms are clean, comfortable and warm. The Neuadd Arms is more like staying with friends than at a hotel.

We were staying at a near by campsite and called in for our evening meal. Lots of meat free options, and the beer was delicious, the best pint I’ve had in ages! Staff and customers were very friendly, will definitely be stopping by again

Who knew such a small place town had so much going on! I stayed for one night after traveling down from Edinburgh. The staff were very welcoming. Had a wood fire in each bar and a pool room. Rooms were nice and dinner and breakfast was great! 10/10 Stay. Thanks

Had the best ever lamb shank I’ve ever had in my life. And the brownie was superb too. And the other customers, and staff, (and dogs) were lovely too. A fantastic place.

We just got back after visiting the neuadd arms for a meal. One of us has several allergies and food intolerances, we explained these to the staff who were so helpful in explaining what food would be suitable and checking and confirming ingredients. They went above and beyond to ensure we were accommodated. All of our meals were absolutely stunning, we will definitely be returning.

Very nice pub ambience with a very relaxed feeling. Food is perfect for brunch and is made to a high quality. Lots of vegetarian options too and ideal for a quick meal if you are passing by. Would highly recommend. Dogs are allowed and welcomed into the pub.
