Soulful and old school. Kids menu is really on point, best value and choice I've seen. The rest of the menu is broad and hand made and includes a cawl that alas had all been sold. Loads of cakes as you'd expect. Friendly efficient service, tasty generous portions and dog friendly. In a word, lovely.

Rude and abrupt staff. Kitchen kept opening and closing as they felt fit and depending on customer. Food mediocre at best, cakes seemed to be mass produced catering cakes. Would not return to this place, I would rather drive 30 miles to get better service. CASH ONLY.

We had a selection of 7 cakes/slices. Sad to say that they were so bad that we ended up throwing alot away. Probably the worst bakery I have ever been to.

Unfortunately no vegan options at all meaning we couldn’t get anything whatsoever. I hate to give a local business a bad rating but as a vegan it equates to total exclusion when there are no options. It can be really difficult to eat out as a vegan. Even if a business has a few vegan options it is limiting in choice especially if something is sold out, but zero vegan options is poor by today’s standards. Please consider adding some vegan options and I would happily update this to a positive review and give you custom. Thanks.

Food tasty and well cooked. Halloumi burger on menu but waitress seemed confused when we chose it and tried to offer the chicken burger with halloumi! Saying ' it's just cheese' as though we didn't know what it was! Odd. Situated in middle of town so unmissable and staff friendly.

Avoid if you have dietary requirements, want non-dairy milk or need to pay by card. Disappointing GF/ Vegan meal with coleslaw on the plate that was not GF/ Vegan. That said…cakes ‘looked’ nice however I did not take the gamble that they were labelled correctly.

Great service and food. I think I had the "Ultimate Breakfast" and it was absolutely top notch 👍. Perfect start to the day. (Cakes on the counter looked lovely too!)

Nice food, friendly staff, only place that seems to be busy.Freshly baked pies.Not too expensive, make sure you bring cash as it is cash only.Have been here twice now this week and will probably return again.

A wonderful place! We stopped here just after the kitchen closed, but because I'm vegan they opened it up just for me and made this delicious beans on toast! My non-vegan friend had a tuna sandwich that was very tasty as well.

Lovely little cafe serving great cakes, coffee and excellent breakfasts! All served with a smile, will definitely be going back! Recommended 😁
