Parkers Cafe Bar in Powys

I stayed here for the first time on Friday night and I was very impressed, extremely comfortable bed, great ensuite and the room was nicely furnished and very clean.In the morning had a lovely breakfast which set me up for the day and to top it off the team were very nice people.I will definitely be back and if you are looking for a nice place to stay when you are in the area, I would gladly recommend Parker's B&B.

Old-fashioned in the best possible way. Unfussy but neat table service and gorgeous breakfast and lunches.

Stayed here for three nights and was extremely impressed with the place. Ideally situated in the middle of town and furnished beyond my expectations. Decor was exceptional and accompanied by a sumptuous bed. Lovely breakfast. Fabulous staff. What more could you ask. Thank you Parkers. Hope to see you again soon.

We were a group of visitors on a mountain bike trip and this was perfect for our needs. Low cost, self checkin, clean and near to the Pier bar in the center of town. If staying here park in the nearby church car park.

Very friendly staff. Food was excellent & a lot of choice. Good value for money as we are all stuffed.

Had our 3rd stay here in the last 12 months and another excellent stay. It's clean and tidy and finished to a high standard with lots of attention to detail with the decor and facilities. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is excellent with good choice and quality. We'll definitely be staying here again for our next visit to Newtown.

Exceptional, communication about the car park was great. Received into the cafe by member of staff who took us up to the room and informed us of how everything worked. She also provided us with information on where was a good place to eat, and that we were best calling first to confirm a table etc. Very clean, great coffee and tea. One issue was working out the shower, but we did and it was lovely and hot. Great bed. Finally great breakfast, all the good stuff and a colossal sausage that I think was locally made. Wonderful.

Lovely B&B in the heart of Newtown. Distance check in process worked very as did the instructions for the car park. Room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. There's a lot of thoughtful little touches in the room and the quality of the refreshments and toiletries were very good. The cooked breakfast was hearty and set us up for the day. I would highly recommend a stay.

Great bed and breakfast. Very clean and comfortable. We stayed in the top room (6), good sized room and ensuite shower room. You would need to check the accessibility of the room as some of the stairs are steep and narrow. Tina and her staff are welcoming and efficient. Breakfast is excellent with loads of choice - as others have said, nothing is too much trouble and it really is a top experience. Highly recommended!
