I was bought afternoon tea here for my 2020 Christmas present. For obvious reasons it took a while to get here but it was well worth the wait. The food is superb, tasty savouries and blissful cakes. Service was friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. We've done a few afternoon teas and this is definitely one of the very best.

Such an amazing place! The staff are very welcoming, friendly & helpful. We had the best afternoon tea ever! With tea pots of flavored gin which was something different, the food was really tasty & there was so much! We had our dog with us & she was treated to a bowl of water & her own plate of dog treats which was a lovely touch from the staff.

Great visit. Quite and comfortable. The full Welsh breakfast was outstanding. The staff were great. Highly recommend this B&B.

Great place to stop on your travels, afternoon tea is just amazing! The photo doesn't do it justice we had already tucked in at that point! P.S. If you want the afternoon tea you have to book it 24hrs in advance, and pay a small deposit but it's well worth it!

We stayed for a few nights and the room was lovely, breakfast was great and the staff very helpful. The cakes were amazing, but we didn't get a chance to sample their afternoon teas, we will have to return.

We had a fantastic 2 night stay here with our baby and dog. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable and the location was perfect for long and short walks in the stunning surroundings. But the thing that made Penbont House really special was the staff - we were made to feel so incredibly welcome and treated like family. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable and we massively appreciated it. Baby and dog loved the fuss too! We will definitely be back and would recommend this to anyone in a heartbeat. Thank you so much!

It was a lovely spot.Went on two separate days, one day was quiet and lovely, drinks were good, and it was just what we needed after a long walk. Food was filling and tasty. However the next day there were two members of staff sat in the reception, clearly bored, talking very loudly and flicking the lights on and off, music was really loud. The coffee was bad, and the earl grey didn't taste of anything... It was a shame!

Stopped for a quick drink and bite to eat with the dog while walking some of the Elan Valley Trail. Is a little bit more expensive so didn't end up buying a full lunch but did enjoy a cake!

We stopped by earlier today, starved & soaked! The lovely staff put a table together in a quiet area for us & our dog. The food was delicious, views were gorgeous and we were really grateful for the lovely service we had. We'll definitely come back & will look to stay next time. Thank you!

Stopped here for a coffee while visiting Elan Valley. Felt very Covid safe. Has to ring bell and wait for someone to let us in. Interior very light and spacious. Milky coffee was delicious. In a very picturesque position. Dog friendly
