Lovely friendly pub , Kev the landlord is such a talented artist .We love a stroll down to the Dwynant when we are at our family caravan.

Great food. The New Yorker burger is the best burger I've ever eaten. One of my go to pubs. Lovely people and Kev is a brilliant chef. Proper home made chips and a scrummy salad. Definitely recommend you try it for yourselves.

Looks not much from the outside, inside there is a fine selection of beers, cyders and spirits. The pub is decorated with the artwork of the landloerd Kev ands is brilliant. Being former Navy I loved the seascapes and naval themed artwork. Thursday night was pool night a great mix of people, friendly and fun. We went in Friday and had a meal, steaks cokked to perfection and my burger was outstanding., homemade and excellent quality. We wdre visiting friends in the area and look forward to visiting again

Best burgers in Powys! A querky, cozy little pub, very nice people and the food is very good indeed! Closed Monday and Tuesday.

You would never imagine such a small unassuming pub would do burgers like they do. Friendly atmosphere, good food, nice dogs...

Couldn’t recommend this little pub/restaurant highly enough if you’re in the area. We stayed locally in a tipi (no hot running water or electricity) and made the drive to civilisation for some comfort food and chilled drinks one evening - it was well worth the trip!There’s a very welcoming atmosphere and considering the small number of covers they cater for a great selection on the menu, including a number of vegetarian options. As far as I could tell everything was cooked fresh; both me and my accomplice thoroughly enjoyed our burgers (I went for the black bean option, with added cheese) and the chips were the best I’ve had in a long time!

Great place! Excellent food, splendid beer, and friendly staff. I went on a challengingly busy evening which brought repeatedly apologies from the staff, but they coped excellently

Excellent food and drink. A very relaxed, open and friendly atmosphere. The owners are also the chefs. Food from 6pm but always worth calling ahead. Mondays and Tuesdays closed.

Awesome food and drinks, had a bit of a wait as they were very busy but was well worth it!!! Definitely worth trying, amazing burgers!!

Great little village pub. Very friendly owners. Always greeted with a smile and welcome. Lovely homemade food, nothing is too much to ask. Dogs incredibly welcome.
