Great little pub.Friendly staff.

Nice place good Sunday roast plenty of it,be going again.

Me and my husband John and our 18 month old son went there on Sunday 24th of April and I must say the experience was great. The menu was to the point and easy to understand, it was a Sunday roast menu which for 6pm on a Sunday is quite hard to find in the evening. I had the roast turkey and John had the roast beef, it was lovely, all cooked just right. It wasn't put in the microwave and nuked for a couple of minutes like I expected for the time of day. The meal was lovely. Also the chef came out to discuss my sons milk allergy. He said he had some dary free ice cream so we went with that but at the end he found there was non left, however instead of just giving him nothing he thought on his feet and provided my son with some meringue and strawberries so he didn't miss out on his pudding. I thought this was very thoughtful of him and I would highly recommend anyone to visit for a meal.

Had Sunday lunch at The Abermule today. This was one of the best Sunday lunches we have had. Plenty of meat and veg. Staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend 👌

Incredible menu, all food was cooked perfectly to our special requests too! Staff were very friendly and great atmosphere in both the pub and restaurant area! Will definitely be back!

I don't know how as I hadn't been on this platform but it showed I had given a less than deserved review, which I haven't because I've been too busy nursing my very full tummy since our meal yesterday afternoon. We had a Sunday lunch for our sons 18th, there were 11 of us and we all had the Sunday lunch menu, some had starters and your Crispy beef did not disappoint as always Jake, and then mains including pork, fish and beef. Service was excellent, the staff were attentative and helpful with the cake and little touches. Jake spends a lot of time on attention to detail and the fusion of ingredients in the food is amazing. We left mindful you were trying to set up for a romantic day today, but would have happily stayed longer.

Excellent food and great service, lovely little pub. Our first visit and will definitely be back in the future.

Had my first meal in The Abermule this evening. The menu had a good choice and the food was excellent. Very professional and friendly service and quite busy in the bar for a Thursday evening. A nice atmosphere , will definitely be back.

Fish & Chips x2Watery tartar sauce, overcooked chips and greasy batter that could be squeezed so it dripped out. Checkback was done so quickly that we hadn't started eating and when the waitress cleared plates that were both 3/4 full didn't engage to check if ok. Menu is overpriced for pub food.One to avoid.
