Beautiful and welcoming place! Accommodating to customers who wanted something different off the menu! If I'm ever in the area again I would 100% come back!

Absolutely brilliant traditional country style pub serving great food at great prices. The landlord was exceptional we visited this establishment just over a week ago outside of there lunch service times but was offered several choices of food regardless which we did not expect. We visited again today also outside of there lunch service and yet again was offered the chance of a meal which we gladly took the landlord up on as it was so good last time. The one thing that stood out was that bearing in mind we had only visited once prior to this 10/11 days ago the landlord had remembered our drink, now ime not sure if that's because he was a great landlord or because we stood out for some reason but ime going with the prior. I cant rate this country pub or its staff highly enough exceptional if your in the area pop in for a drink and a bite to eat you wont be disappointed.

Traditional Sunday roast. Plenty too. It's home cooked down to earth food. Good value for money and a homely feel :)

Did a 10 mile diversion off our route to Wales to have lunch here. Arrived at 2.25 to be told they had stopped serving food although their website says lunch service on Saturdays is til 3. Went to Elsie’s tea room instead which was excellent

Called in on Saturday dinner to see if we could arrange a overnight stay in the carpark in the motorhome. We were made to feel very welcome and had a few drinks and booked a table for the evening. The food was great and we had to book a table for Sunday lunch time to try that, we were not disappointed at all, great service, great atmosphere and definitely be back soon thanks for a great weekend

Mega food and great landlord! Honestly think this pub serves the best pub food I have ever had. Well worth calling in, absolutely unbelievable. I think Gordon Ramsay could possibly be the chef....?

Great little pub serving good honest food. Cosy, friendly and traditional with really good ales, beers and wines. Try the Gammon or Lasagne, gorgeous and locally sourced. Service is always first class, and owners Stuart and Jo are super friendly. Excellent!
