The staff went the extra mile to help with my allergies when ordering food . Great atmosphere friendly and welcoming staff . Will be going back next time we are in Brecon.

Nice pub and very friendly staff. Pub is clean and a log burner always makes a pub feel cosy. Meal was nice but the gammon was a lot thinner than I would have liked but tasted nice, friends we were with commented the same. Good selection of beer and nice and cold.

Thanks for a wonderful lunch! Chicken and leek pie delicious. Vegetarian lasagna tasty. Chips the best. Beer refreshing. Service with a smile.

Just booked a Sunday Lunch, booking advised as lunches sold out, which shows how popular they are. Had a choice of beef, lamb, pork, excellant meal with all the trimings. Service great with friendly staff. Outside seating area is beautiful and peaceful, a really enjoyable visit, second visit for a meal always a wonderful experience x

Thank you for squeezing us in for dinner on a public long weekend. All staff were very friendling. Providing cards for us to play cribbage was an added bonus.

Lovely pub! Perfect place to have a pint by the fire and a great dinner to refuel after a hike on the Beacons. Friendliest barman I’ve met in forever, too.

Booked this as part of organising a walk and talk and there were 24 of us from various parts. The pub were extremely accommodating and menu was excellent. We had a lot of food intolerances and nothing was too much trouble. We have been back since and enjoyed a lovely drink on Christmas eve. Can highly recommend for a great night out with good atmosphere and lovely food.

Wonderful weekday lunch! A friendly welcome to a lovely pub with good food. All our meals were excellent (steak, lasagna, curries, pie). Gluten-free was no problem (including chips safe for a coeliac).And dog friendly!Wonderful, would certainly try here again next time we're in the area.
