Fantastic!! Fish platter beautifully crisp. It's nice to have the classics in yer platter, sole goujons, scampi, whitebait, you know the drill! Make sure you have pudding! The kinder brownie is a work of art. No toy though 😉

Nicely presented restaurant with friendly staff, a great menu and huge portions.

Nice home cooked food with plenty of choice. My only gripe was I requested veg be served separately but when arrived at the table the main bowl was all mixed, resulting in a lot of waisted food

We went to this hidden gem in Welshpool last night for a meal it was fantastic ….brilliant service , great welcome from staff and other customers too ( Alan the sweet shop man and his Pub Quiz !) there is so much to choose from on the menu and SO MUCH on the plates too👍🏻Great food , nice drinks and a really lovely place what more could you want ? I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s in or around Welshpool , great night out .

Popped in for some food while in welshpool quite pricey ordered a mushroom starter it was nice but too much cream and not enough mushrooms portions were as big as mains also had the Sunday roast and very disappointed the sirloin of beef was undercooked and very chewy and the veg was tasteless and gravy was like water so unedible and went straight in the bin wont be back

Friendly staff serving tasty, freshly prepared food.We went for the steak burger and the vegetable lasagne. Also ordered a Greek salad as a side (it was on the menu as either a starter or as a main), and chips. Greedy?....yes! But the logic was that we hadn't eaten since 730, it was now 2 and we wouldn't be home till at least 5 (we didn't actually get home till 7 due to traffic between Wales and York!).We didn't anticipate the generous portions! Something had to give so only half the chips and a few bites from the burger bun were eaten. Everything else was so tasty and obviously prepared with love! The Corn Store will now be a stopping off point on any journey to and from Wales.

Brilliant food. I've been several times over the years. And the menu seemed a little simplified this time, so I was a little worried. But the quality was exceptional. Staff are attentive and prompt. We moved from the restaurant to the bar and it was just as good. Perfect evening.
