Room was very comfortable and clean. Full English breakfast very well cooked and tasty. Also had evening meal which was just as good. Hosts lovely people and importantly was excellent value for money

Visited The Harp on a Tuesday evening and enjoyed both a warm welcome and some lovely food. Also sampled a few pints of the local IPA (Glasbury Undaunted) which was kept well - would recommend

Only popped in for a drink at the end of the day. The staff were friendly and there was a brilliant atmosphere in the pub. Everything a pub should be!

Awesome atmosphere, we booked here on a recommendation while visiting the area and needed somewhere for dinner where we could also bring our dog along. The whole pub had an extremely welcoming feel to it we've not experienced anywhere else. Driven by the friendly and down to earth staff offering great sevice. A real hidden gem. We'll definitely be back one day!

My wife and I called in for lunch (on the way to the Hay Winter Festival). It was our first visit so we didn't quite know what to expect. We were greeted by a friendly and welcoming member of staff. The beer and wine were of good quality and the homemade pies, steak and ale and chicken and ham, along with the chips and vegetables, were hot and tasty. All in all, a very good choice for lunch!

Booked a three night stay to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary, couldn't have chosen a more friendly and welcoming place. Lovely staff, spotlessly clean room and excellent food in the bar, and breakfast fit for a giant ! Looking forward to returning.

What a lovely pub! We booked a table for 8 and, despite being a Saturday, were accommodated although were told at time of booking that we would need to sit outside because they were booked up inside, which was fine for us. The outdoor seating area wasn't beautiful (picnic benches on gravel, adjacent to the car park), but it was perfectly functional and comfortable. The things that really impressed us were the friendly and prompt service and the food, which was good tasty pub grub, with a decent selection. The chips were particularly good!
