Very comfortable room with a great view. Friendly hosts who accommodated our requests and made our stay as pleasant as could be!

This inn was wonderful and my partner and I had a memorable and relaxing stay. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel at home from the start and offering friendly conversation and advice about the area throughout our stay which was much appreciated. The breakfast was delicious and generally we felt like we were staying with family - with the added bonus of complete privacy and separation when we needed it.The room was a good size, immaculately clean and modern - whilst still having the charm of an inn. The mountain view from our window was breathtaking.Would recommend to anyone looking for an authentic stay in Brecon Beacons and hoping to come back next summer! Thank you very much. Kristina & Ben.

A friend of mine and I ate at this restaurant as part of a day trip to the Brecon Beacons. The escargots followed by the Welsh lamb were both delicious and very reasonably priced. The service was excellent, and the layout of the restaurant was both cosy and very well maintained. Highly recommended!

We ate in this pub just after Christmas on a family holiday. It had been beautifully refurbished, with a real fire and a welcoming bar, tastefully decorated. Richard (the owner) was really chatty and very engaging. The food was excellent and good value (very filling). I would recommend the trip out of town for it.

Booked my daughter's 30th birthday family dinner here for 17 people. Not only was the three course meal delicious, even catered for 6 children with a different menu, but Fiona actually baked the most wonderful chocolate birthday cake for her. Richard was very attentive throughout the meal and nothing was too much trouble. We all had a delightful evening which we will remember for a long time. Would highly recommend the Kestrel Inn. Thank you Richard and Fiona.

Very nice food. Small choice but covered all palates. All freshly cooked and adjustments made for my wife who is gluten, dairy and soya intolerant. Eton mess desert was exceptional. Lovely meal all round.

Beautiful pub, lovely relaxed atmosphere, super friendly staff and gorgeous food - highly recommend a visit! - had a wonderful time with the games and quizzes in the corner next to the fabulous open fire. Will definitely be going again!

Really good freshly cooked food! Very nice restaurant with country charm and stunning views of the Black Mountains. Good quality food and drink with excellent service. Friendly hosts are even willing to accommodate special needs for a fussy vegan like me.5 STARS - ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great food. Lovely wine. Perfect evening with friends. Highly recommended. You know the food is going to be good when you get to discuss the best cut off beef with the butcher because he drinks there.

I have staid there for 3 nights with my son and we both loved it! Food was very nice as well and we were provided with a tasty lunch pack to go hiking. Very warm welcome from Richard and his wife.
