Really friendly staff, good choice of food on the menu and a nice atmosphere. Would go back again another time

Had a fantastic sunday lunch with the family, will definitely be back. Service was outstanding and staff were brilliant. Oh, and the beer wasn't bad either 🤣👍

·

Perfect Sunday dinner. Gravy served on it though, so best to mention if you prefer without. Lots of nicely cooked vegetables and meat.

Absolutely lovely Sunday roast today at The Lamb and Flag! Will definitely be going again and would definitely recommend it.

Lovely looking pub/restaurant. Two sections one side pub and pub food, other end of restaurant seating area, very classy village decorated, fresh colours. My fabric chair has stains on it so I exchanged for leather. I liked the fact they had wooden handles on chair. Table laid out very nicely with all condements. Drinks ordered and about 10 minutes later food arrived. Unfortunately I don't think the food is fresh, as the chicken steak burger (The huntsman) was very hard to cut maybe a few days cooked before. The servings are very large and the price high for none fresh food. Smaller portions and cheaper price would benefit this restaurant hugely. And the locals would benefit too. Customer service was very good. And quick. This is why I gave a 3 star. Hope the restaurant takes my feedback as something to aim for.

Very basic room with a just comfortable enough bed and Wilko decor, that being said the room was cheap and clean, which is all I needed. The pub itself is lovely , friendly, helpful staff and a welcoming atmosphere. The food was great with reasonable portions and sensible prices too.A good selection of beers available when I was there with a couple of local breweries represented and all the usual pishy lagers that seem so unfathomably popular.

Great pub, food is amazing (including veggie options and adaptable menu). Pool table is 50p a go, lovely staff and cheap drinks compared to South of England! Had a great time, thank you

Lovely Sunday roast dinner, lots of veggies - huge portion. Very friendly staff. Dog was allowed in and offered water. Would definitely go again when back in Wales

Stayed here recently with a friend for a walk in the area. Great value food, food drink and accomodation. I've read some of the negatives and about the accomodation and granted it's basic but for £31 for a double room (we booked 2 rooms) it's perfectly acceptable. Not really sure what people expect at that price point? As camping/hostels etc aren't a great deal cheaper and nowhere near as comfortable. The mattress was possibly a bit soft for some people, but otherwise everything was clean and reasonably well decorated. Hopefully visit again soon as the staff were all very accomodating and let us leave the car there during the even after we checked out.

We had a lovely meal this evening. Food was lovely and the service excellent. Special mention for jacque (jack) and the young waitress (sorry didn't get your name) credit to the establishment.
