The Nags Head Inn in Powys

We stopped here for lunch on the way to and back from a family holiday in Wales. The food was excellent with a good choice available. We travelled with our two-year old and a children's menu was available with a really good selection. Highly recommended.

I was recommended to try this place. And the recommendation was spot on! The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is spot on. And the overall experience was perfect. I will definitely be visiting again to have the Roast Meat Platter again. Thanks guys

Very nice pub. The room we had was very spacious and comfortable. There was a separate entry via a side door for late entry. At night as we were close to the main road expected a lot of noise but and lorries seem to pass in an instant so no problem. No air conditioning but there was a fan in the room if needed. Shower facilities were very good. Excellent breakfast in the morning. Very enjoyable stay.

Great food and the portions are really big. Our group had a large selection of menu items and we were impressed with all of them. There are enough drinks options to ensure everyone will find something they like. The service was a bit mixed but on the whole pretty good. There is plenty of parking around the back and a decent beer garden too.

Very welcoming,comfortably busy without being intimidating. Tables nicely spaced for good conversation.The food was fabulous, it was a special occasion (they didn't know) and we were all delighted. Looking forward to returning. Thank you 😊

Rooms are spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable, wobbly floors as you'd expect in a building this age.Confused slightly when checking in as signage isn't clear.Some road noise but that's only to be expected.Restaurant is excellent, food is wonderful!Staff are friendly and helpful.Only stayed the one night but will definitely be back.More than happy to recommend The Nags Head Inn.

Just spent 3 nights here with friends. Fabulous. Rooms are lovely, Food is delicious, excellent quality and freshly cooked. The staff are lovely. We will definitely return 👍🏻

Went for a birthday dinner as staying near to this pub on holiday. The food is amazing. The portions are MASSIVE. The lovey pregnant lady waiting on us was really nice. Chatty and welcoming. The toilets are lovey and clean. The bar area looked nice to. Plenty of people relaxing in beautiful place with big comfy chairs. We were all stuffed. Definitely recommend.
