The absolute worst B&B experience of my life! The place is an absolute dump, it's a scandal that they are charging such prices for such a below par experience. The whole place have a backwater / hillbilly vibe, like something out of Deliverance! The rooms are old & cramped. Zero customer service, the rooms don't even have soap in them; for breakfast, I couldn't even find a napkin to use. An absolute disgrace on every conceivable level! Avoid like the plague. The area also has zero mobile signal coverage, and nothing to see or do.

Ate here a lot 6 years ago when staying in the cottage opposite and the food was good and reasonable. As in the area again thought we would return.Ordered lunch gammon each 1 with egg 1 with pineapple. Fiasco trying to pay as card machine rebooting.Asked for water for our dog and was told certainly. Never did bring it. Food arrived nearly an hour later. Both gammon were with egg. When I pointed out I asked for pineapple I was bought 2 small rings of cold pineapple. Mushrooms were deep fried, and we had deep fried roast potatoes pretending to be saute. Very disappointing lazily cooked. Won't be back.Foo

Ale was pretty good and plenty of atmosphere. Decent portion of grub but not great quality, but it's the location you are after. Rooms were basic but served the purpose

Stopped in here the day before revs. Parked in the Carpark next to it in the van. Perfect combo. Nice landlord.

In the middle of no where if you like that kind of thing great staff and friendly service. Stayed here as it was prime location to do the Mick extance experience

Owner is the best person I have met. Goes out of way to fulfill your need. Unfortunately place needs more cleaned, need of renovation.

Slow service on the food, 12 people in our group and the food came out in dribs and drabs. The first served had finished before half of the group had been served.

I stayed here about 2 years ago when I went on a MTB vacation in Wales and was looking for an accommodation close the the Revolution Bike Park. I was glad to arrive in a cozy looking pub but we were met with wide open eyes when we asked about our booking because they simply forgot about it. The rooms were dirty and clearly nothing had been done since the last guests got lost there. To be charging a 100 pounds per night is not just cheeky but clearly taking advantage of people getting lost there. After getting situated we went in for food and even tho I hadn't eaten all day, I was done after 3 bites of my. "burger" because I might have as well have been shewing on an old sponge. The full fry up was included bu clearly made hours in advance and then just shoved into the microwave. I wish I could somehow express how utterly disappointed I was with my stay. I am actually going back to Revo Bike Park this year, but booked a different BnB 25miles away, because I rather waste 30 minutes driving than getting ever setting foot into this place again. Very disappointing experience.

Was planning to stay here and ride Revolution bike park but unfortunately Storm Arwen stopped the mountain biking. Stayed in the accommodation, I don’t think it was cheap enough for how bad it was. I’m pretty sure if any sort of regulatory body came to inspect the accommodation it would be shut down on the spot. There was a large puddle on the floor in our bathroom, a loose floorboard on the landing and no door handle to access the stairs. Pub had a good selection of beer and friendly staff. Didn’t appear to be anywhere secure to store bikes. Probably won’t be going back until the accommodation is sorted out, this could be made really good and attract so many more people to Revos and the local area if a bit of time and money was spent on doing up the accommodation.

Came during social distancing for lunch. Bar staff were friendly and helpful. Only the beer garden is open so you need to go round the back at the moment (April 2021) it's a nice little area with lovely green mountains all around. There is covered seating in the beer garden. The menu is varied they have a grill, burgers, pub classics and a kids menu. They have a dessert menu as well. Our meals were big, well priced and delicious. The food came out quickly. It was pretty quiet and chilled
