Stopped for food and drinks en route to Fishguard. Ordered breakfast rolls which were good quality. As it was Sunday, the usual menu was not available. The manageress served us. She was unfriendly and rather off putting but the rest of the staff were nice enough. Will be looking for an alternative watering hole in future. One that welcomes customers!!

Just returned from a Christmas meal at the old barn with my work colleagues, 18 people in total. I must say what a fantastic meal we had, everyone enjoyed their meals, all served together, the lamb shanks fell off the bone & the turkey was very nice too. lovely presentation, plenty of food and very nice staff. Will definitely return here for a meal. Thank you.

Arrived when it was pretty quiet, ordered veggie fajitas and a burger. An hour later, everyone else that arrived after us had been served, yet no sign of our food. No apology for the wait, except when we decided to pay for our drinks and leave - (after asking them if they were aware of our order, which they were). Table was dirty when we arrived (it had been sanitised but had crusty food stuck to the surface - my photo of this is after I’d scrubbed it with a damp napkin. We feel completely let down on several fronts, and there was no attempt to make up for the “oversight” either. Beer was served in a dirty pint glass too. Perhaps we were unlucky…

We had a very warm welcome, to a lovely clean restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The food we had was cooked well, well presented and tasty. Good value for money.

Sunday lunch just fantastic a real home made meal, oh the deserts are ridiculous size, if you leave enough room for one.

Just discovered this place at the end of our 2 week camping trip in Hay! We had pancakes with bacon and maple syrup and a Old Barn breakfast - all absolutely delicious especially the griddled bacon. Best value meal we had all holiday and super efficient friendly service. Masses of choice on menu too.Clean, spacious, nice toilets, also a nice grassy outdoor area by stream for sunnier days!If we had found it sooner we certainly would have visited more often.

Disappointing experience altogether. We were squirreled away in the "tea room" (which was empty) and basically forgotten about for the entire visit. The food arrived and was pretty poor. Chips were soggy, Hunter's chicken was effectively a slab of chicken on a bun and didn't have any BBQ / cheese flavour and the southern fried chicken looked like a dog's dinner. Both mains were ~£13 each - very overpriced.
