Fabulous garden centre to visit. They really have a sense of fun with the seasonal displays. So colourful too. My grandchildren love going round to see what's happening with the resident train and tractor, as well as racing with the children's trolleys to pick up the bird feed. So much to see and do from flowers to fish, trees and bushes. Kitchen ware, clothes and gifts, this place has it all! There is a lovely restaurant inside with great views, for a well earned hot chocolate and homemade cake .. but just as nice is the outdoors coffee n cake stand with seating. Great on a hot day, not so nice when its wet!The garden centre staff are very community minded and helpful as I know some of the local elderly residents have food from the restaurant delivered to them. Fabulous idea as it's quite a trek to the nearest supermarket and not all have local family or cars.Well worth a visit for the plants, but food is lovely too. Great for all ages.

Have seen this was voted one of the best garden centres in the country I had high expectations as having been to several blue diamond ones and oakchurch which are both amazing.I was left slightly disappointed especially with the lack of indoor house plants. The food and farm part to the building is exceptional with a very wide variety. The outdoor flowers and everything garden is also fantastic. I'd probably give 4.5* as a review but Google doesn't allow. Great cafe/restaurant and great little animal and aquatic sections. Staff all lovely the ones we spoke too. Massive car park. If it had a great depth and size for indoor plants then I would happily change and give a 5* rating.

An outstanding garden centre and they deserve the number 1 slot for top garden centre. Went to the tea rooms and had a toasted tea cake ( that was 6-7" across and came out on a dinner plate, and very nice too. Plenty of garden plants ( all looking very healthy) and garden equipment etc. Farm shop has some good products. The staff and very friendly and helpful, so would I go there again ( takes me an hour from home) 100% yes. Well worth a visit

This place is massive. Lots and lots of every kind of plant, plus a very large shop with all sorts of things you will want to buy and a deli-style food section. Nice tea room, didn't try the restaurant but it looked good and quick kiosk outside, nice on a sunny day. Very friendly staff, a nice destination for a trip out.

Such a nice place. I came around Christmas and the Christmas shop was wonderful. Now it's gone but it's still a pleasure to come in. The different parts of the shop makes it fun to wander around and there's such a beautiful feel to the way everything is displayed and cared for. But you cannot go to the old railway line without stopping in the tea room for the best waffles you'll ever have.

We love coming to the garden centre, it is so christmasy, when we arrived the carpark was quite empty but when we left people were queueing to get in, they have so much stuff there you don't know where to look and the staff are excellent, they will go out of their way to help you, we will certainly be back, I would advise though if you want a meal to book as it gets so busy

Went there to mainly to enjoy a lunch as restaurant had been recommended, not disappointed at all good food at a reasonable price with a good choice. There is also a tea room as well as an outside express tea shop, I must confess I did not have a good look around limited on time, but quite an xmas theme going on wide selection of items for sale especially for the garden and quite a few items for indoors as well. Pet Store & Aquatics Sections. All on one level so good disabled access. Will be going again.

Went to visit the Christmas shop which is lovely as always. Shame there are no real reindeer this year, but assume that is due to Covid and hopefully they will be back! The animatronic singing reindeer were a lovely touch though. Would recommend visiting in the week if you can, we went on Saturday and the cafe and tea room were both very busy. We had to wait a while for our food, but as usual when it came it was very tasty.

Lots of beautiful plants and trees here, lovely tea room and a separate restaurant, both with rest rooms and disabled facilities. Surprisingly it's dog friendly too! The food hall has lots to offer and the staff are great. Christmas is just getting underway and can't wait to visit again soon.
