Lovely hotel very friendly and helpful staff. Unusual but very comfortable rooms, loved the Jacuzzi bath. However very little to do in Prestegeine limited shops most of which were closed by 2pm.

We recently had Sunday lunch from the carvery at this lovely old hotel. It was fantastic, a generous helping of delicious, hot well cooked food, the dessert and drinks were lovely as well and the service was great from friendly and efficient staff. We will visit again and would recommend it.

Without a doubt this is the best bar and restaurant in town. Friendly people and a great atmosphere with the original oak panels and beams. Good quality and choice of beers and wine served by enthusiastic and knowledgeable team.

I cannot fault this place. We were greeted warmly, check in was quick and easy, and we were shown to our room - which was amazing. The bed was big, warm, and comfy, the room spacious, and apart some noise from the bar below up to around 10pm, was very quiet. The continental breakfast was lovely, plentiful, and set us up nicely for the day.We only interacted with three people who work there, Martin (a Director) Ben, and Corrina. Each of them were lovely, knowledgeable, and accomadating.I would love to stay here again.

Really great service beautiful room and steeped in history. The room is beautiful with four poster bed and oak panels. The food is lovely and really good prices. Overall I loved my stay here and can't recommend highly enough.

Have only been for Sunday dinner, it was lovely, you can go back for seconds if your still hungry as its a carvery. Staff was friendly and helpful and the manager and chef was friendly ,nice to speak to.Dogs are allowed in but not in the restaurant, you can sit in the other rooms they have if you have a dog tho. Will be back again next Sunday for dinner.

The Radnorshire Arms has finally reopened, after 4 years. This grade 2 listed hotel, is in the centre of Presteigne. The bar area is attractive, with original wood panelling. The staff are welcoming and professional, providing a good service. Dogs are permitted outside and inside the bar area, but I'm not sure if they are allowed in the restaurant. There's an open fire, which is inviting - particularly on cooler days.We stopped here for drinks. Personally, I think that the seating is not particularly comfortable, or well laid out. The pew style benches are upright and face each other across large tables. There are 3 smaller tables, with individual seats, but the space needs some attention; to portray a more luxurious country inn style. Apart from that, it's a good place to visit.

Wonderful characterful hotel, very atmospheric. The family room we had was light and airy with comfortable beds and nice facilities. The continental breakfast was good with an optional charge for a full English. The level of service was excellent especially from the Senior Manager currently running the place.

Stayed overnight with evening meal and breakfast.Accomodation was lovely, clean and traditionally stylish in decor, we had 2 rooms both good, however the room with the bay windows was particularly beautiful.Menu wasn't extensive, however covered all the bases as far as we were concerned (incl veggie). Service was good. Was surprised it wasn't busier as it has a nice garden and it was a sunny June weekend.
