The Stumble Inn in Powys

Would I describe this place as 'ok" or even 'adequate ' only if I was feeling somewhat mean or got out of bed the wrong side as they say.But according to Dave the owner this comment has been left.Anyhow, quirky interior, bar used as extention to restaurant in quieter times.I thought the menu was great,unpretentious pub grub with an emphasis on quality as well as quantity. Moroccan lamb tagine was great, maybe served in a tagine would have been a nice touch.Service also swift and polite and bookings seem to be spaced so as not to stress Chef ! Overall,I will go again and recommend to others.Judging by the fact that I could only get one a 6.30 booking tells you how popular this place is so Dave &Co you must be doing something right.Oh yeah the car park was adequate almost OK 👍

Booked a table in the stumble in...very lovely people made very welcome and the food was excellent all home made. Would recommend to anyone if your up in the area call in you won't be disappointed..Will call back. Thank you..

Had lunch with our grandchildren (on Saturday 2nd) in the garden. Varied menu, friendly & efficient service, delicious 'pub grub' food reasonably priced - will definitely return!

Went on a luncheon club coach trip to the stumble Inn every thing was superb lovely pub in countryside in Wales brilliant staff served a beef Yorkshire pud roast apple crumble and tea at the end of meal every thing came out piping hot the meal was so delicious we all went home with full tums so thank you all at the stumble Inn in one of the coach party from hattons travel for being so welcoming xxxx

Just been for Sunday lunch with the Tansley’s great company a fantastic food starters mains and puddings exceptional, can’t wait to go back and try the other menus

You wont be disapointed great host great staff and service. 5 star food at a resonable price visited as a coach party with darrens recommend a stop here for a meal for anyone my first visit and will defo go with darren there again.

Another lovely take away lunch from The Stumble Inn today. Roast turkey with all the trimmings and a dessert. Many thanks for keeping things going during the lockdown.
