The Three Horseshoes in Powys

We came just before they stop serving lunch. We were lucky that we still managed to have a lunch in here. Great services and very delicious food! Will definitely come back here!

Delicious dinner at the Three Horseshoes last night. Food and service were both excellent. Good selection for vegetarian and a vegan option per course also. Make sure to book in advance especially for a weekend as the phone was off the hook all evening taking bookings for the upcoming weeks.

My wife and I have lived in Wales for about 2 years and we love dining out. This is definitely one of the best places we have visited to date. Thank you Ash for the unique experience!

A hidden gem! Excellent menu, friendly - all a short stroll from Brynich lock in the amazing Brecon Beacons. Not so well hidden - well worth booking ahead!

Best meal I have had in a very long time. Beautifully cooked and very reasonable given the quality. Get booked in before everyone finds out about it. Found it in a glowing vogue magazine review and did not dissapoint. You won't regret it.

Great food and attentive service. The staff had come over twice to check on our dietary/allergy requirements. There was complimentary toasted bread served with homemade marmite butter. Food was beautifully presented and great combination of flavours. The only downside is there is no dedicated parking space in a quiet residential area.

I'm an annual visitor to the area with my cycling club and have never ever noticed this place before, until this week (when I'd come with my wife for a weeks holiday) and chanced upon it whilst on a bike ride. I liked the loo of the place, chatted with the owner and booked a table for dinner the following night.All I can say is that we were really happy with everything!!!The food was fantastic, restaurant standard.... imaginative menu and really well prepared. The service was excellent, the young staff have clearly been properly trained. The welcome was warm and we thought the prices were very reasonable for the food being offered.The have done a fantastic job in the garden with the mini dining-huts, we really loved ours and the lovey view out to the Brecon Beacons.When I'm next in the area, next July, with my cycle club.. I shall suggest we stop off for a post ride pint! When I'm next around here with my wife we will be sure to book for dinner once again, as it was one of the highlights of our week.Thank you for fitting us in at such short notice.

Dined in the restaurant section, menu offered a good and varied selection of starters, mains and deserts. Food was very good and enjoyed our 3 courses, combined with a pint of local aleI would visit again if i was in the area..

We found this place on a cheeky search for lunch whilst traveling back from Tenby.The staff are very efficient and great fun.The setting is stunning, the decor is stylish and relaxing.But... the food goes beyond what you would expect from a sleepy village in Wales.The marmite butter and bread...wow... The steak was cooked to perfection for those that had it in our party, and the entire steak dish accompaniments were divine.The triple cooked battered cod is so tasty...and that pea puree .. Class...Do not get me started on the egg custard tart or the chocolate cremeux... Heaven.Have eaten in some really nice restaurants over the years, and this rates up there with them.Read the reviews, ring up to make sure a table is free, and make your holiday journey one to remember.A wonderful dining experience. Genuinely considering going out for the day to travel here and indulge again... Top drawer...
