Good beer selection. Don't expect to get a seat indoors during busy periods. Very interesting pub in a very pleasant small town.

What a fantastic place this is! 16th Century and oozes character, which includes have the toilets over the road (love these old-fashioned perks).Really not many places like this left in the UK sadly - beams, very cosy on the inside and a great choice of draught beers to choose from. The food was absolutely to die for, proper pub grub that is cheap but with huge portions! All homemade on site, nothing frozen.Honestly superb, I wish we came here every night!Ample parking available, although worth booking ahead for a table as it gets quite busy, and no wonder!See you again guys, brilliant food and atmosphere.Side note - the service was fantastic considering how busy it was, shout out to the staff 👍🏻

Amazing, if you are in the area you must make a visit. A small 16th century pub that serves lovely food. Popped in on the off chance they had an available table. We sat outside and ordered the special lamb curry, ribs and a beef burger. All good was delicious. Had desserts also. The staff were all super lovely. There is a lovely river just at the bottom of the road worth a quick visit. Thank you. :)

A lovely Inn, small & cosy. The food was lovely & well presented. Considering they were short staffed & had a reduced menu the bar person & chef did an amazing job. We'll definitely return.

Stayed in the cottage and ate at the pub one evening. Very generous portions which was perfect after a long day walking, beer was good and the landlady was lovely.Cottage was snug and warm, very comfy and had everything we needed. Would definitely consider returning!
