Good food, good beer, decent room at reasonable rates, big beer garden, and terrific atmosphere. What more can you ask for? Oh yeah, the people! Best time on Glyndwr's Way (off trail) was spent here.

Family of four, camping for the week and needed some home cooked food.Negative first, a rather small menu compared to what it showed on the internet.However, and this is a big However, food was absolutely fantastic, kids loved the burger and the fish and chips was the best fish and chips I've had in a very long time! Not greasy and very fresh.Staff were lovely and welcoming, and the chef made outstanding food.A very lovely pub.

Even though it was the only bar open in town, we would have still picked it.The place is lovely Sid with friendly staff and a nice sang area outside.

Great Pub & beds! We were welcomed by Harry and he is amazing, had a pint in the pub. Good selection of beers. We struggling to find a place to stay and this was literally the only place in mid Wales that still had room: best decision ever!

Great little pub selling good beer and really tasty food. Only criticism is the portion was too small for me (I could eat a horse though!)Welcoming, friendly and clean place to go.Highly recommended.
