Excellent food, the Sunday Roast was superb. The service was excellent, we were served very quickly, the food was piping hot. Could recommend The White Hart as a definite place to eat

Never again. When we asked if we could sit outside as it was nice, we were made to feel guilty as they were short staffed. Food was mediocre but the one saving grace was the other staff member

·

Unfriendly welcome, rude staff, stale atmosphere, food was ok. If you want the complete opposite then visit the pub next door as we did.

Very nice. Unfortunately no sandwiches or light bites on the menu so I feel they may lose a few customers because of this. However the staff are very friendly, the inside of the pub is lovely and the fireplace is lush. The food we did have was very good. The pie especially was very very tasty and absolutely huge! I wasn't a fan of the chunky chips as I prefer softer chips, but my partner really liked them.Would return again for an evening meal but probably avoid at lunch time as lighter options aren't available.

You’re greeted outside with a sprayed floor: “Stop Here”. Opened the door to be further greeted by the slightly manic manager. Did I want a drink or food? How many of you? Taken to a table and had to order drinks without seeing what was on tap. Interesting decor and a lovely location.A bit of a surreal experience and I doubt I will return.

Friendly pub nice real fire, good beer, decent food. Dog friendly, but close early so check your times with a call beforehand if in doubt. Last food at 18:00 on Sunday.

We visited for a last minute lunch on New Year’s Eve and found the team here welcoming, accommodating, warm and friendly. The food was delicious too!

AVOID. Sadly this place has gone over the top with covid provisions. The atmosphere is dead. The biggest crime is that someone has taken a can of yellow spray paint and defaced the flagstone floor. I won't go on about the metallic tasting beer, fruit flies and sticky tablecloths... Any luck the pub will change hands before we visit the area again. A real shame.

The food was out of this world. I was so impressed by the tender lamb chops with mash potato. The minted gravy was delicious. Chef obviously knows what they are doing. With a pure joy to be there and I felt incredibly safe. The place was extremely covid safe and highly hygienic. I recommend going there if you want delicious food, a traditional pub atmosphere and outstanding food and service. It was unexpected surprise after a long walk. Also my fussy parents were very happy and that's a winner for me.

Absolutely brilliant pub. Managed to squeeze us in for food even though we only called 15 minutes before.Staff all super friendly, chatty and happy to answer questions about the beers on tap.Food was classic pub grub and delicious. Would recommend the steak and ale pie if you are visiting.
