Quiet cafe in the middle of town, which is a rare find. The glass walls give the café an open feel, and the selection offered (whilst perhaps a bit basic) is sufficient. Prices maybe a bit high, but other than that a nice alternative to Union Terrace Gardens on a rainy day!

Nice, airy surroundings, excellent freshly prepared food. Would definitely return.

Nice place to have lunch. Variety on the menu is not so good since the panini menu and the toastie menu had only 2 choices each. Coffee was great, soup was ok but a bit watery. Good service and atmosphere but there is better places around the area to have lunch.

The downstairs area is nice for a coffee/tea/scone, etc. The upstairs area is the main restaurant area. Very nice place for families and couples.

Pathetic choice, food, cost and staff could be a bit more together. Worst lattice I have ever tasted.

Nice, atmospheric place. Cafe good for a quick bite, and the restaurant upstairs is a delight.

Went for afternoon tea with my mum. They offer a vegetarian or vegan option, and made sure they were brought out on separate plates. Service was lovely and waiting staff checked in on us frequently throughout.

Nothing quite beats the Toastie + Soup of the Day combo. You are likely to run into Theatre staff in the café dining room who are super friendly and very knowledgeable about the place.

Quite a noisy place probably due to the low roof. When I visited at around 2pm not a lot of choice in scones or sandwiches.

The only problem with this cafe is the bad design lack of space. And absolutely freezing as doors always open.
