If I could give this 0 stars I would!Came to Archibald simpsons and ordered food & drinks. When it came to getting our order we had multiple drinks missing and our peppercorn sauce was sour it tasted off. When asked about our drinks the staff was very rude and walked away from us saying ‘yes in a minute’ and returned with a single can of juice with no glass! the place wasn’t busy at all which is understandable as the food is scrap and the staff are ridiculously rude! Will not be returning!Hopefully you can provide better service in the future.

Lovely building and well looked after. The place was clean and staff efficient and helpful.Meals, I ordered at the bar and they were delivered very quickly. Quality was as you would expect. Prices were excellent.Word of warning, when using the app to order, make sure you are ordering from the right pub!

Hello,While I was at bar waiting to be served I was holding my money to show the staff I would like to be served which is normal behaviour when in a pub, the bartender came to me and was very aggressive behaviour towards me because I had my money out, she said I did not need to show her the money and she would no longer serve me because of this, I replied all I would like is to oder a drink, she aggressively replied she will not serve me at all. Its a bit concerning while am a decent chap in the way she conducted herself, she escalated the situation which was totally unnecessary. The bartender had a camera which could easily be viewed if necessary, I've never come across this situation before and very strange.

Went there for breakfast the first time and had a great experience. The food was pretty good considering the price and the young lad that was there was super nice. He really made a difference.

The only reason for the three starts is the polite waiters. The food, while cheap, feels like a bad deal as the flavour is just lacking. There's plenty to eat but little to enjoy. If you go out for drinks and just want a light bite - chicken wings are an ok option, but that's as far as it goes!

To be honest the food in here is actually not that bad. For the price it's actually quite reasonable. If your happy with a good old cheap bar lunch then that's what you will get. Service is OK. Mainly students I think. Not that bothered but not rude or pretentious. Tables are usually clean, lots of space. This is a locals bar and is usually quite busy but I'd say worth a visit if you want a cheap quick bar lunch.

Very middle of the road Witherspoons. As always with spoons, most things were well priced, the general decorations of the pub felt somewhat tacky but didn't take away from the overall experience too much. Very hard to manage to get a seat on any day of the weekend, but if you wait for around half an hour (sometimes a bit longer) you can find one.
