Atholl Hotel Restaurant in Aberdeen City

A lovely hotel with friendly staff. Great breakfasts. Only had dinner once but it was fantastic. Clean and well equipped room. Lovely area. Would definitely go back.

The service was friendly and helpful. The place was very busy, and the meal was very nice. For an older guy like me, maybe a bit too much on the plate but I could have asked for less. A good experience.

Was there yesterday for funeral tea .Excellent . There was slight delay which staff apologised for and explained to chief mourner. Service and food very good.

The Atholl is a very special place for many Aberdonians, and above all it really does represent good food at a fair price. Many of the people who work here have been there many years and know the regulars as friends and not just customers. Many family milestones/events are marked here. The regulars really are regular- many for weekly meetings with pals, some just for a drink.For me it's a constant and reliable place to meet friends and family. They've moved with the times and and cater for all generations young and not quite so young. My mother-in-law got a small portion while the young ones got full portions. My Ox cheek "stew" with pastery was almost perfectly cooked - I'd have gone a bit slower for a wee bit longer- but it was very tasty. I'm not sure what the others thought of their lunches but really would be surprised if they didn't enjoy their meals.This is a classic friendly comfortable place to eat and drink. It has kept up to date and if you're looking for a covid safe friendly place for a good meal I can't think of a better place to visit. Stayed over at the Atholl. I believe we stayed in the newer extension. Room was good. Staff were very helpful. The food was very good with a good selection to choose from. A very good overnight stay. You cannot go wrong with Atholl.

What a lovely place. Stayed for 2 nights. Best breakfast ever. Staff very friendly and very professional. Sparkling! Would definitely return.

Had a Sunday roast with my pregnant wife so we asked for the roast well done for her. And even though it was well done it was beautiful . Food was great and the staff were friendly and nice. The manager on duty was great, explained there covid policy and took us to our seat. I normally order desert but we were both full with just mains. Was fantastic defo recommend

Six of us ate dinner here when we were in Aberdeen for the weekend. We were all very impressed. From the moment we arrived all staff were attentive and friendly. The food was fantastic. We all loved it.

the staff were very attentive and the room was clean and tidy . The food was good quality, sausage rolls , sandwiches and cakes all delicious and the shortbread excellent.
