Good pint but lacks any atmosphere

Good, down-to-earth pub, with welcoming staff and generous portions of food.

One of the best decisions I made in Aberdeen was deciding to stop here to kill some time waiting for friends. A very friendly and welcoming bunch, and Scott the barman was hospitable and amazing. You won't regret stopping here for a bit of Scottish cultural immersion and great chat with the locals. (Also the fish and chips next door was fantastic, and I don't often like fish).

Friendly staff and the chippy next door was really tasty

The batter on the fish was more hard than crispy so don't think i would have that again but enjoyed the place and service was good

The Bankhead is great, very friendly and efficient staff. Good ambience , comfortable surroundings.Exstensive menu.Would highly recommend.

Nice wee pub wasn't ken on the fundrel tea i was where for,sandwiches were a bit stale and the sausage rolls didn't have much sausage meat in them. Would not recommend here for a send off for a loved one

Brilliant bar with friendly staff. Had a party there great atmosphere great food at an even greater price.

AVOID AT ALL COSTSBar very basic, Glasses filthy. I had bottled beer so it was ok but my colleague had draft larger followed by gut rot! Myself and my colleague were walked through the kitchen to get to our accommodation which after seeing the kitchen put us off wanting to eat there. We were then shown to the £75.00 a night accommodation which was disgusting!The room had no ensuite which is fair enough but we weren't expecting to have to share a bathroom with the landlady and her entire family, the toilet looked like it had never seen a bottle of bleach, it was pure filth. The bath was black with grime and to be fair I wouldn't of even bathed my dog in it let alone use it myself.We did suffer 1 out of the original 6 nights booked to be woken by the landlords coming in shouting after 1am which seeing's we were up early for work was totally inconsiderate.We felt totally robbed at having to pay £75.00 for what i can say was an experience never to be repeated!
