Lounge nice enough to sit in for a drink, however, witnessed lots of complaints from customers regarding the quality of the food.

Staff very nice and cheery and food was lovely 😍

Had the best night here on Friday! Amazing staff, great service, food was brilliant and great value for money and the DJ played some banger tunes! Will be back for sure!!

The black dog has lovely food and drink, good prices and staff are friendly and nice, good for live sports and brilliant for parking on location would recommend anyone to go to the black dog 10/10

We live just round the corner from The Black Dog so when we saw "kids eat for a £1" sign we couldn't miss it! Beautiful authentic Scottish food, great atmosphere, 4 clean plates - 2 of them from kids! Which if you have kids you know how difficult it is! Very homely feel and nice experience all together. Hats off to manager David McNair for doing great job!

Popped in for lunch on Thursday and was very pleasantly surprised how good the food was. The fish and chips were lovely and the batter on the outside was light and crispy and crunchy, it was perfect. The fish was lovely and meaty and my friends Southern fried chicken Wrap was excellent. She even was impressed that they left out the cheese and she is dairy intolerant. The staff were very knowledgeable and i was impressed with their level of service. Nothing was too much trouble.
