I personally think the restaurant is not used to having ethnic minority as customers especially for a Sunday roast. The service we received was just okay and not very welcoming for a come back with other friends in the same ethnic minority category. Especially friends that like exploring different food from different culture.

Great place for breakfast plenty of choice, evening meals are also quite tasty and great for the family/kids too.

Very poor experience overall... Went for a carvery with some friends on Sunday but felt disappointed and not valued as a customer at all... From the moment when we walked in and how the food was presented(dry and not edible) and staff as well... Also when we sat down and found that rubish in the menu I just felt disgusted... Hope just this was a one time off as I can see the place has decent reviews.

Just had the mis-fortune to dine in The Buckie Farm in Aberdeen.Looks great from the outside however un-welcoming not very friendly staff got us off to a bad start! Greeted with a vacant look from the staff member I was shown to my table. This is an Order and pay at the bar before you get your food restaurant! The area where my table was is in full view of the carvery area which had a stench of old cooking oil which extended through the hole restaurant. Can I suggest they change their filters?Ordered Halloumi fries to start and a Bacon Cheeseburger for main and low and behold they arrived together. The waiter confirmed “aw well sorry bout that” and left. Halloumi fries were alright however the burger was swimming in oil and overflowing in ranch sauce. I could not eat it I had to get out. My clothes now stink of the oily/fatty smell from this restaurant normally associated with a greasy spoon or burger van in an industrial estate. Will not be back!

I ordered Chicken peri peri wings and a spicy chicken pizza. After reading the reviews, I was a bit dubious. The food arrived on time.I wouldn't say it was piping hot, but hot enough to eat.Which I'm doing as I'm eating it. So yeah, I'm very pleased with the food I received from Buckie Farm .Will defo order from them again.

Had a lovely breakfast at the restaurant. There was a huge choice and everything was hot and was freshly cooked. I would heartily recommend visiting Buckie Farm if you want good value, well cooked food with a great choice!!!

Went for carvery for anniversary looked great but was so dry. Roast potato peas carrots everything sat under those lights in that heat just made it all dry and hard. Service brilliant just stop leaving carvery to dry out lol

Carvery was awful, selection was lacking and all dry and inedible. Servers at the carvery were also rude, didn’t speak to you, left you waiting and were rude when interacting. First time here and will not be returning.

Perhaps a bad night for the cook but the 'special fish and chips' proved to be just that but not in a positive way. You get what you pay for my grannies used to say and its true. The friendly waitress understood exactly and offered a free sweet. Over cooked battered fish is hard to cut and eat. However, there are signs of slippage about the place of what used to be a nice place. Change with the Covid regulations has pressurised us all and that may explain it? Handy and value meals as a rule but things have changed.
