OMG, what a disaster. Absolutely no atmosphere!! Had booked a tipsy tea party for a friend's 50th, have to say the food was good as we're the cocktails but there was children running around, with no adult supervision, bare footed in the bar area where there may have been broken glass. As it turns out the 56 bedroomed hotel had 50 rooms full with refugees which is fine but please look after the children, after all this is the bar area. Maybe let people know when booking hence people can make up their minds if they still want to go there. Really put a dampener on our afternoon but have to say the staff were really nice

Pink Death played here @ so did Thee Melody Garden around 1988 when it was the Imperial hotel. The owners then were cool as they just let us get on with it . ♥️🎧🖤

The good people that work here allow, us as Street Pastors, to use their facilities as our "Safe Space" vehicle can not be used at the moment due to covid restrictions. They provide us with tea/coffee and biccies.

Hospitable and caring staff. Attention to personal safety and welfare of guests. Friendly and relaxing and private spaces. Very central location in the city.

Lovely hotel, very freindly and helpful staff. We appreciate all your hard work.

Today my husband and I had a great afternoon tea here. We were using a voucher given to us by our grandchildren, for Christmas in 2019! The hotel honoured this, for which we are very grateful. The staff were excellent, both on the phone when I booked, and in the restaurant itself, giving excellent and cheerful service, during what must still be a very difficult time. Thank you. 😊

Lockdown isolation for work so it's hard to judge the hotel properly but so far so good. Room is comfy if a little cold, bathroom is lovely with a good tub and shower setup. I've had better 'isolation catering' but I've also had a lot worse, meals so far have been tasty and filling.

I was there recently for a christmas do. I enjoyed very much because of the company but not the hotel reception. They are too greedy. They squeezed us into a small place it felt so cramped and it was not enjoyable. The beef that I had was nice and soft however it was dehydrated hardly gravy on it. My friends who had a Turkey said it was awful and it was worth £20 under not £50.00. I don't want this hotel never again. The building is so rundown and needs upgrading. Too much price for a rundown place.

Stayed for the night in the Japanese Suite. Wow!! Very beautiful and fantastically styled!! Large Buddha headboard above a comfy king sized bed! Japanese style sliding doors into the bath room, amazing room! Live music and a gorgeous dinning area!! We had vegetarian dinner here and it was lush!! Veggie breakfast was also great! Staff went above and beyond to assist! Will definitely be back!!!! 10/10

Nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Our room was a good size, clean and tidy with tea & coffee making facilities, tv even an iron and board. I was disappointed by the en-suite. It wasn't the cleanest and the shower head was broken. You could still shower but it sprayed everywhere. Staff were informed.
