Golden City in Aberdeen City

First class Chinese takeaway tried many different meals and everyone is brilliant no complaints from me well done guys keep up the good work.

After the reviews I wanted to try out the place..some terrible smell came from the garden where we had chance to see the kitchen is in awful condition. The food has no taste and the sweet and sour sauce was a joke.. The veggie curry is like a Morrisons savers. I am very easy going but this place was terrible.

Brilliant,food amazing and also they deliver

I have been eating from this amazing Chinese since I was a child! It's a family run, community driven place and that hasn't changed in over 20 years! The recipes are still exactly the same and the same friendly faces greet you when you walk through the door. I've been to many places in this world but nothing compares to Golden City! Strongly recommend! HOT TIP: Order the BBQ sauce, you wont regret it!

DELICIOUS, my favourite go to Chinese would recommend getting the 9A chicken with spices with chips and their lovely bbq sauce delivers very quick

This is the best Chinese in Aberdeen. Fast delivery but more important than the food is always good. The beef chow main is the best been going here for 10 years now. Prizes fine. Have tried others but keep coming back here. No other gives me a beef chow main in this way

Distinctly sub-average. Very grubby inside restaurant, cold and no feeling of authenticity. Walls hanging in grease and needing cleaned thoroughly. Very expensive for small and stingy portions: prawn toasts that had NO prawn inside and hardly any sesame seeds on top, saturated in grease; sweet and sour balls with tiny chunks of meat and half-inch thick batter right the way around; and salt and chilli chips which were more salt and chilli than they were chip... cost around £12! Definitely will not be back at Golden City and would recommend against anyone else eating at this low-brow establishment.

Went to it as no other chinese near me was open at 10:30 pm. The shop is very outdated and needs investment, even the TV seems like it was bought in the early 90s. Expensive, extremely greasy and thrifty portions, with little meat. My partner feels extremely sick after eating it. Also funny to see that they have put up their own review below, to increase their rating, the hour after mine was posted 😂😂😂

I was well served by the staffs. Amazing food and decent quality. Can’t complain at all. Definitely will come back again. The Chicken Curry is the best curry I have ever had😋😋😋

Food is amazing been coming here for over 12 years love the authenticity of the proper old school chinese takeaway staff know my order of by heart gotta luv the special curry portion sizes are huge and delicious
