Malmaison Brasserie in Aberdeen City

A great dinner all round.The food was great. A real mixture of cuisines that means there is something there for everyone.I had a delicious steak and my partner had gnocchi which were both brilliant in flavour and presentation.The cocktail selection was a highlight for my partner with everything on the menu being right up her alley

Best cooked breakfast in town! Excellent service as well. The lovely staff accommodated us even though we were a few minutes late. I'll be back

Wonderful Atmosphere friendly staff... Fantastic food

Can not say enough how amazing the main course of Grilled butter chicken, cut chips and green bean salad with peppercorn sauce was! Atmosphere was perfect for an evening meal an the staff were polite an cheerful. Would come back again.

Booked for an important family event and was hugely disappointed by the service provided. On arrival, we found the room booked had been set up quickly following another booking and that one of my guests had been left out. Drink service was slow with each waiter carrying through one or two drinks at a time from the bar. All guests who had pre ordered steak were served it "pink" and not asked how they'd like their food. When I questioned this, I was told it was my fault for not specifying how the steaks should be prepared when I submitted the order the week before! Then there's the bill. I was told there was a £55 minimum charge per person. I had 25 guests and had paid a deposit. I knew how much of the minimum spend was left so repeatedly asked staff how much of that was left so that I could keep track of what was being spent. When the bill arrived, I found it vastly exceeded expectations as staff had given me incorrect totals throughout the night and forgotten to tell me about the £140 service charge.The night manager refunded me £390 which was most appreciated as the mistakes were theirs but these issues spoiled an important family event and is not what would be expected from this hotel

Amazing food and service, very tasty cocktails

Nice looking place with modern decor, but that's about the only good things I'd have to say. The service was pretty slow and it wasn't particularly busy on the afternoon I went. The main course of lamb was barely edible as it had so much chewy fat on the skewer. For £17.50 it was extremely disappointing. Had planned on going again for afternoon tea, but after this experience that won't be happening.

Excellent restaurant, part of the malmaison hotel, food to die for on the menu. Really nice food & refreshments the steaks are excellent.Relaxing atmosphere and very polite and friendly staff. Always there to assist no matter what. I’ve been twice & each time it’s terrific. the Sunday brunch set menu is very good too, 5 Course menu to starting with soup then a large self service salad section & meats section with selections and different varieties of salami etc, then a choice of mains then a selection of desserts,finished off with coffee & biscuits definitely be going back.👍

Alright food but wasn't blown away considering how expensive it was. Don't mind paying a bit more if it is perfection but it was decent at best for me and I'm not one to be fussy with food. Buffalo wings to start were very good but I had a fillet steak whose flavour I think was overpowered by even a slight char. Wasn't great. Can't beat a Kyloe steak! Was cold inside as well aha.
