Although the service was delightful and the food inexpensive (due to restaurant week in Aberdeen) the food was slightly disappointing. I had the burger, nachos and apple crumble, and it was a bit of a let down. The place is in a nice location and the staff lovely (and I do usually only make an effort to leave positive reviews) however the food was disappointing.

Lovely meal as part of a dine, drink and stay package. Food lovely and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Had an excellent haddock and chips for lunch here. Chris, our waiter, was really friendly and helpful. Two minutes from Union Square if you're out shopping.

Group of 6 had a meal there and 2 had a refund due to unxceplable and disappointing portion size and badly cooked food. Had a plate of nachos with a very small portion of chilli and charged nearly £9. for a plate of crisps also the roast beef was all fat and very tough. Thought there would have been a Yorkshire pudding etc with the beef but once again dissatisfied at nearly £15. Very skimpy portion size and quality.

We really enjoyed the friendly and prompt service and nice atmosphere. Excellent king prawn fettuccini as a main dish, and tasty, nicely presented chicken liver pate as a starter. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Fish Special - and amazing sizzling fajitas! We ate here when we stayed at the Aberdeen Douglas Hotel, its the hotel's restaurant but deserves to be reviewed in its own right. The service was fantastic, the servers we had couldn't do more to help us and recommended some good things to do in Aberdeen in the rain! the food is outstanding and the fish was obviously very fresh and cooked to perfection (and I'm fussy about these things!) Thank you for your advice for a visitor to the city & the tasty Salmon special!
