Asked for a fresh King Rib as one in the counter looked dried out and burnt. Worker lied and said it was fresh. I again requested a fresh one to be given load of abuse and attitude. Staff member did not look clean enough to be handling anyone's food.

Not great. No gravy, no smoked haddock, cold chips. Was 30 mins before closing hence rating (and jumbo sausage was ok) but still disappointing.

Really really poor quality. Ordered scampi supper and king rib supper. Chips were hard as not freshly cooked, scampi is the former fish kind - cheapest of the cheap and the king rib was surrounded in an orange sponge of fat so much so that it soaked through the paper wrapper and left a congealed mess at the bottom of the carrier. Absolutely terrible food - total waste of money and will not be back

Worst fish and chip shop I have ever been to. Every time I have gone, the chips are undercooked like warm potatoes, the fish is swimming in grease and the portion size is measly. I used to go when I was desperate for a quick filling meal, but now I just can't face it. Tried going again with my partner six months after original review. Quality of fish and chips much improved. But my god, the staff were barely civil with each other let alone us. I know the job doesn't require employees to have attended finishing school, but your girls should at least learn how to speak like human beings.

Brilliant Chipper. Polite, friendly service. Food delicious and no complaints from us ever. Premises are very high standard. Don't understand why people are saying service bad etc as I've been there a lot and brilliant food and service and premises modern and clean. Love it.Comment said worst chip shop ever, lol, she must be going to the Hilton or something as it's one of the best chip shops and standards for staff, cleanliness and food is definitely 10 out of 10. In fact, away there now, mmmmmmm

Average food at best. Service was slow and none of the staff seem exactly happy that they have customers... convenient for where I live and my commute to/from work but would much rather make a 10-15 minute detour. The only positive is that I didnt get food poisoning and the food was at least warm

We came for our tea tonight very disappointed , girl serving acted like we were an inconvenience coming in just after 8pm on a Monday night , had to wait for our food to be cooked it was warm batter was raw and chips cold very disappointed! So much better up at rosehill

First time I went here I got a bad portion of chips, or so I thought. This time I went for the Haggis pudding supper again as it is beautiful but again the chips I got was dreadful (see photo), so I have to assume that they do actually class that as a portion whilst selling them at those prices - which are steep, probably the most expensive chipper in town. Add to that the moody staff and I can safely say I won't be back.If you are like me and simply don't appreciate being ripped off, you should avoid this place!!!

As I WAS going to be a customer tonight, I was going to be having fish and chips. I went in,standing waiting to be served, was waiting for 5 minutes to be served. A customer walked in,no one looked at me and asked if I had been served, the guy that came in got served straight away. The young boy behind the counter had seen me come in but didn't acknowledge me. Worst place in Aberdeen for service and food. I walked out and went to panda valley Chinese. MUCH better service. Stuff u Mr chips.

Avoid this chip shop - ordered fish supper. Fish cold, very small portion of chips, asked for no salt but got it salted. This is the second visit - first visit had same problem but thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt. If you can make the extra journey try Mikado's on George Street - so much better (just on holoday at the moment hence the change in chip shop usage).
