There's a huge amount of Italian competition in Aberdeen, and I found this to be distinctly average. The service was good but the food was nothing to write home about. I found it bland and not exciting, feels like the kitchen needs a shake.

Nice wine and nice food. 1 waiter was excellent, the other 2 seemed a wee bit disinterested - couldn't find someone to pay the bill for ten mins or so. Picking at the finer details and would certainly return

For the main course I had a 10oz fillet steak with duck liver patè as I'd never heard of that combination and thought it sounded interesting. I was slightly put off by the price as its the most expensive item on the menu but went for it anyway. 2 other members of our party chose the same, all cooked medium/rare. A 10oz cut of meat was presented but the quality was poor and all 3 steaks were very well done on the outside and medium in the middle. The duck liver patè was like a lumpy gravy on top, horrible. The worst cooked steak I've had in a long time, unbelievable for the price.

We had a fantastic evening at Poldino’s with their personable staff and delicious food and wines.I thoroughly enjoyed my cannellini salad starter, butter sage ravioli, and tiramisu dessert.Overall, the portions were generous and were paired with a great atmosphere to enjoy our meal - will certainly be back!

The food is amazing,the taste of all the fold we asked for was more than what we would expect for the price of it, this dishes are Italy in Aberdeen, super tasty.The service was also extraordinary, is a bit busy, so better ask for a table or go with time to wait for one!
