Rocksalt & Snails in Aberdeen City

Hubby had the large fish and chips, he loved it. I had the katsu chicken oh my the portion was huge! 5 pieces of chicken in a lovely spicy sauce would highly recommend but be warned portion is large. Managed to eat half.

Really good fish and chips here! Everything cooked to order good sized portions, the batter on my haddock was perfect, just right mix of soft and crispy, protected the most haddock meeting a beautiful cooked taste and texture. Popular place with good parking, they allow online and phone in orders. Friendly, helpful, cheerful staff. Well done Sea Salt and Sole!

Probably the only fish and chip shop I would recommend. Quality is really good, online order system is great. Would recommend. The panko options are really good too.

Ordered jumbo haddock plus haggis pudding suppers. Nicely cooked and chips very good. But the fish was very small for a large fish portion. That made it poor value for money

Had a fish supper and a sausage supper. Cooked fresh and very tasty. I always forget to order before I go.

Very yummy smoked sausage! Decent portion of chips! We like being able to order online, but the collection system is a big slow and awkward (COVID-19’s fault most likely)

Best chipshop in the area by a long way. Some different choices too. Panko bread crumb, gluten free batter.

Absolutely first class, I did ponder this for a while. I have visited a fair amount of chippers in my lifetime but this is probably the best you are going to get in Aberdeen. Amazing piece of fish and quality batter and no skimping on fresh hot chips. Its amazing how many chip shops get the basics wrong but not Sea Salt and Sole. It does command a little bit of a premium price but well worth it. Visit it and tell me I am wrong or enjoy 😉.

Fantastic fish and chips! Order from here regularly batter always crispy, fish always fresh. I love the Katsu chicken so glad this special is still on the menu. No better chipper in Aberdeen!

Ordered from here tonight. Fantastic food made to order. Prices are quite reasonable and the food is beautifully cooked. Batter is light and the fish melts in your mouth. Decent sized portions too! Staff are friendly and polite. Kitchen has a gluten free side all to itself and therefore caters for dietary requirements!Will definitely be heading back!!
