Sand Dollar Cafe in Aberdeen City

Whenever I'm in Aberdeen I make a point of going to Sand Dollar. Quality of food is superb (have had their full breakfast, and their large portion of haddock), both excellent.Perhaps not the cheapest, but it's worth paying more for the quality. Service is always great and despite going with a group of 5, didn't take long to get a table, but this depends when you go of course.Recommend for breakfast, brunch or lunch. They also have an alcohol license.

Had the Full Scottish breakfast today and was a 5 star dish, but hope its warmer inside the cafe next time as was very chilly.

Had an absolutely perfect breakfast here this morning. I had the crispy chicken and waffles, and my wife had the Sand Dollar Pancakes. Both were delicious! The coffee was really good too.Top quality service too, and all the staff were friendly and attentive.Very highly recommended.

Easily my all time favourite place to have lunch or breakfast in Aberdeen. You can tell it is good because there are always queues at the door at peak times... and it is well worth the wait.The breakfasts are great, the seafood is fresh and tasty and the burgers are the best I've ever tasted anywhere on the planet.Clean, friendly and inviting. Friendly and helpful staff.Can't recommend it highly enough.

The food is very good though pricey, but well thought-out using fresh and local ingredients. The manageress is very friendly and amenable. The tables are very close together which isn't ideal for covid rules of distancing

Nice cafe and the food is good but it is very expensive. They charge extra for plant based milk which is a shame because they are basically penalising customers for making an ethical choice - a bit backwards these days. Staff are friendly but a wee bit annoying - it's like they are trying to be American or something 'hey have a great day' etc.

Very nice staff, lovely atmosphere. Went here for lunch with my spouse and our friend. We all enjoyed our meals very much, the quality was great and great portions for the prices. Would highly recommend 👍

We made a visit to the Sand Dollar Cafe today and was greeted very fast to sit down, a table for two.We ordered Eggs Florentine with added Salmon, also Scrambled Eggs with Sourdough toast.Two Cappuccino and a chocolate brownie.This Cafe has very high standards with the Service, the food quality, the food presentation.The Cappuccinos were made to perfection, the right amount of froth and the perfect temperature.The staff were excellent and very welcoming.Top marks to the Chef, this guy is a major asset to the Sand Dollar Cafe.Would i reccomend this place to eat breakfast or lunch or even just a coffee, YES HIGHLY RECCOMENDED.Each time i visit the Sand Dollar Cafe I'm never ever let down, Each visit was better than the first and keeps getting better.❤❤

Just amazing. The team have been so adaptable during all these restrictions and always bring a smile to everyone's face with all their cheeriness ! Food is incredible and they've found ways to make everything available for take out. Great range of choices if you're gluten-free, vegetarian or vegan. Big thanks to everyone at Sand Dollar :)

Excellent, homely, lively, yummy! Visited when we came up to take my Great Aunt out for lunch and they were so freindly. Also offer smaller portions for elderly or for people with a smaller appetite. Really busy but quick service and worth the 10mins wait for a table. Will be back 😁 already recommended to friends.
