Best dish is the tandoori mixed platter. I've been going to Shalimar since 2001, first year of uni. 🙌🤤🤤 I make sure to visit whenever in town.

Best take away in Scotland in my opinion. Have ordered from here for a few years now. Avril is a legend! Kind and polite even remembers your order for when you call again. Brilliant! food is gorgeous, so tasty

Love the Kebabs from Shalimar. They have good food.You can phone in your order or they deliver.You wait at the door for your food and they will bring it out to you and then you pay.The staff were wearing a face masks and were friendly.

Best Indian food in Aberdeen - BIG thumbs up. UPDATE: They've been closed since February after a fire, but they've now reopened, and I'm very happy to say they're still serving the best curries in town. Won't be getting takeaway curry anywhere else 👍

Been ordering from shalimar tandoori ever since I was a little kid, the woman who used to own the place was amazing and even remembered my order off by heart. I'm pretty sure it's under new owners now but ordered the other week and the food is still just as good and the woman on the phone was very friendly, highly reccomend this place.

Excellent food with fantastic staff!!! You must try their King Kebabs on Nan bread. They are without doubt the best value for money kebab not just in Aberdeen but the whole of the north east of Scotland. I would go as far to say it's one to tick off your food bucket list!!!

Amazing food and the prices are unbelievable. I ordered a calzone and chips cheese curry sauce for work which came to something like £10.50 and what a meal. Im the type of person that can eat 2/3 burger kings and still be hungry but this places portions are huge! Great atmosphere and they have a steady flow of customers. Never queing out the door but they always have someone buying food all the time. Well worth it. Only issue is parking

It is the best you can expect from a moderately priced kebab shop, the student curry meal deal became a weekly mainstay of my diet in Aberdeen at £5.95 for a poppadom, curry dish and rice, chips or naan. The quality was great, although I do not recommend the sweet and sour curry because while it is what it says, it is not a good curry. The staff are lovely, so much so that the lady working there ran down the street shouting after me when I forgot my change one night!
