Shanghai Restaurant in Aberdeen City

I really do not know where to begin, ordered take-away, without doubt the worst Chinese Take-Away in the history of take-aways. Dreadful does not even come close. Chicken in batter was a congealed mess. The batter was burned on the outside, soft and uncooked in the inside. The quality of the chicken was horreondous. Obviously sort of mass bought chicken bits re-cooked several times or reheated from a previous night. I am amazed they remain open. Just appalling!

Moved to Aberdeen from England and was so farmished... then i decided to order from this terrible restuarant (in my personal opinion i feel should be shut down). I must say this is the WORST FOOD I HAVE HAD IN THE UK and trust me have had some pretty bad take outs... i ordered Vegetarian Crispy Spring Rolls, Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings, Special with Cashew Nuts with Fresh Vegetable, Special Kung Po... I must say £21.50 down the drain... The sauce doesnt even come with rice... PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!!!!!! I wish i could give 0 star but oh well!

This was our regular Chinese, the food is really good and decent value, however unfortunately we will never be back again.Customer service tonight was appalling - which is a real shame for the owners and chefs(who do a great job)The women working on the till dealing with phone/walk in orders was a disgrace! It was clear she could not cope with the volume of orders and was overheard saying she had lost track of the order tickets. Whilst I was waiting for my order she left the phone repeatedly and when she did answer it she told people they were too busy to take delivery orders - great way to keep business.Also witnessed delivery drivers coming in to speak to her as they couldn't get through on the phone when a customer quiered a payment.After waiting there for around 30 mins (60 odd mins after ordering) I discover the food was ready at the advised just eat time, she just didn't check on this!I asked how long it had been sitting ready and the response I got was 'there is still heat in it'

Friendly staff and fantastic food !! had my doubts from the appearance of approaching the outside of this restaurant...but don't be put off by this!!! This restaurant is the perfect example of don't judge a book by its cover!!!

Great place! We dined in here tonight after the first two Chinese we went to were closed. So it was our third choice but now it's our first! It doesn't look great from the outside but the food was amazing, everything we ordered was perfect. The staff were also really friendly. Highly recommended.

Always excellent food and always delivered very quickly. Very good portions, full with meat and free prawn crackers!! Score! Best local Chinese I have ever had.
