Great hospitality, ice cream was delicious

I ordered their “dessert special”. The quantity was fair enough but…! I am appalled that why a dessert shop can not make a perfect waffle. There was a waffle with loads of strawberries and bananas on it no doubt I will say again that the quantity was good enough for 2 to 3 people to enjoy but yes my concern is WAFFLE!!! The waffle should be crusty and crispy from outside when you chew it the inside should melts in your mouth. It should be that soft. What i got was a dough very rubbery waffle. Very stretchy very rubbery. Some of the bananas were mushy, they were supposed to be discarded. I am disappointed 💔. I really wish that they work on their waffle recipe.

AMAZING!! We got some milkshakes and cakes and they were so fine. Could not complain about the taste or the prices to be fair.Cookie dough is a must have.

Wonderful variety of waffles. Have tried 2 or three till now as I am stuck on them coz of their taste 😄 can't help it. Sherbet too has so many varieties and tasteful flavours. Must try mango Sherbet in combination with simple chocolate waffle you will love it. 💘You are awesome 👌

Best banoffie ice cream in town. Once there was a problem with my order called them no problems what so ever got new ice cream delivered and some extra to make up for the mistake very friendly

Although a bit ££, Shakes'n'Cakes makes shakes that are a real delight - great variety and all that I have tried so far have been really tasty.Delivery (when ordered via their app) was faster than the ETA. And when when ordering in the Union Square and Spital branch and asking for a substitute of an ingredient due to allergy, they were always kind and accommodating.

Shakes n cake waffle special is amazing. Loads of menu options so you can overload on sugar to your hearts content. Highly recommend.

Late night dessert with my bro's! (Excellent late open hours, very convenient!)Looked price-y, but I figured portions would be quite large; portion size was EVEN MORE AMAZING than I thought! And it was foxtrotting deeliiciioouuss!!! Was definitely not disappointed!Loved being able to swap my ice cream flavour from vanilla to creme egg! 😍Only thing I might say is that there wasn't quite enough ice cream to go with all the waffle; would have been PERFECT if the scoop was just a little bit bigger (and maybe if the waffle was a teent tad hotter).Staff were friendly and service was good.Decor is kinda weird, like a faux toff setting, but I like it!Will definitely be recommending to others and pretty sure I'll be back again (maybe if I get a date).

Recently visited and was pleasantly surprised by the wide selection of European/American drinks available, the only place in Aberdeen i could find Chocomel. Also the fresh nutella waffle was excellent with generous amount of ice cream and nutella.

Waited over 20 minutes for a crepe and cookie dough. There was a large family sitting at the table directly opposite the ice cream chiller who asked one of the male servers (must be new and was wearing glasses) to clean their table. He returned with blu roll and disinfectant spray and proceeded to spray the table before the kids and adults could move their food. Spray clearly hit their food but he didn’t care.All staff talking in a foreign language and laughing at their customers... unfortunately I also understand their language so knew exactly what derogatory comments were made.When we left, we said goodbye to be polite.The male server with the neck and arm tattoos decided to mock us as we left bye repeating “bye” in a high pitched voice. When I challenged him he simply said “what?”Unfortunately the food was actually very pleasant... but the staff have ruined our first experience... won’t be back.This isn’t the first time someone has complained about he staff... when are you going to deal with the service?
